I've been on Naltrexone for about 3 weeks now. I take it 1 hour b4 I drink my beer. Every night I have about 10, 12 oz Budweiser's. Last night after about 4 beers I had no desire to drink another one. I actually dumped out the rest of the 12 pack. Never done that b4, what's up with that?

everytime I want to drink, I search videos and articles that say alcohol is good for you and use it as an excuse to drink. and I found your video. there is no excuse in content of your video, but I found excuse in it. I feel like... cheer for your beautiful face

One thing that I am worried about is that if effects the "pleasure side" of the brain right ? So how does it affect normal endorfin kicks like training hard like I do and spending time with my family. How much Zombie do I become from naltrexone so to speak ?

Great question. We have a blog and article that covers it with a naltrexone expert. Check it out here www.thrivealcoholrecovery.com/blog/naltrexone-block-all-pleasure-dr-volpicelli

@@thrivealcoholrecovery So what I got from reading that it is that it seems that naltrexone makes you "leveled out" I guess it could cause some slight problems for a guy like me who likes to get kicks from my hobbies. So it's a tricky one, if you don't get any "real kicks" from anything than it could perhaps lead to depression. So it's like the opposite to alcohol.. I guess it could make a person to stop training or do things that used to be fun, so the question is where that leaves you. I guess it could be good in the shortend, but in the other hand if you don't find things as fun as before that could cause some problems as well.

1:35 I want you stay good, but I dont want you have medication. I quit medication, thats definietely bad. 4 years free is so much effort. 1 week is maximum I could try. we should drink just moderate amount, but once we drink we cant stop, so we better not to drink at all. does marijuana helps for alcoholic? marijuana seems healthier than alcohol

marijuana is good in many ways but it also can make you lazy. I knew a guy who would do it quite often and he was totally in a cloud 24/7. . From personal experience one of the better options would be to go for forest adventure, camping for several days in the wild. I know it sounds weird but many guys seem to find this helpful, and there is no alcohol there

Did your husband join you using Sinclair? Did he encourage you to to start Sinclair ?

He did not join me as he does not have a drinking problem. He was very supportive of me because he knew I had a problem
