I'm not a metals/electricity expert, but as an educated layman I feel like I need them to explain how the box that they constructed with copper and an external metal charge is comparable to the original Arc made of gold with no external metal charge, I would need to be shown how carrying the Arc through the desert would have the same effect as the external metal charge that they used, and they made a confusing comment about the original arc weighing two tons and being carried by four people, which would of course be impossible. This just seemed like a strange documentary that wasn't very well explained.

The Arc as described in the Bible would have accumulated electrical charge via capacitance, a sandwich of conductive and non conductive layers, i.e gold, wood, gold. I visited the Treasury building now the Chapel alleged to hold the Ark of the Covenant as part of St. Mary of Zion Church. The monk who dedicates his life to the protection of the Ark is a fundamental part of the Ethiopian and Eritrean Coptic Church. The Church and the believers firmly believe that the Chapel contains the actual Ark! I can not say that the Ark is there, but the reverence given to housing and celebrating is truly inspiring and heart warming! Kagnew Station 4th ASA Field Station Asmara, Eritrea 1963-64.
@TheGreatest19742 жыл бұрын
@@alanfenick1103 sadly, given the turbulent history of Ethiopia I would seriously doubt it’s the actual ark. More likely a nice looking replica. Because 1 monk is never going to stop 3 determined men let alone any army from taking it. It’s only modern laws and beliefs, peacetime, and respect for religion that allows 1 monk to guard such a treasure. It simply cannot be the real ark. But because of the respect, and the fact that no one is even allowed to look upon it let alone photograph it, seems to me to be proof that it’s a replica. No one but the monk even knows if there’s an ark inside the building at all!

But the question is 'WHO' discredits these finds? Sometimes when new unearthed and unfamiliar discoveries are made it discredits other professors who maybe are 'Religious' themselves or are connected to religious and archeological societies, think about that question too, why these other specialized people or scientists don't get credit Because they're probably not in the sworn by oath club! God is science, science creates life, we can clone, we can adapt vegetations, science surrounds us like it did then in Ancient Egypt, it's all on the walls and texts... If religion weren't so controlling to man's wisdom, I think religion would be more understandable and stronger because what sounds poetic in the bible is actually scientific instructions and orders, people need to open their wisdom to decipher it! :) I am just an openminded believer of God.

Well...if constructed as described in the Bible, it would act as a capacitor, that's scientific fact. But the demonstration in this video was a total waste of time, it didn't even rely on capacitance but on an external high voltage source. If they had simply held the two output wires from that high voltage source close to each other, it would have created the same effect, no need to build a complex box to demonstrate an arc.

@wademedlin38222 жыл бұрын
The design of the Ark is, as described, sounds very much similar to a simple capacitor. But maybe we try to often to explain things in some complex contexts as some great mysterious forgotten knowledge or technology. The theory I never hear is perhaps it happens to have actual properties of a capacitor by accident rather than originally designed to. And as a result it enhanced the divine impression that was intended. Many things were discovered by accident often considered as miraculous. An iconic religious prop suddenly displays some unexpected, unexplainable, supernatural like effects. For the keepers of the faith, the word serendipity comes to mind.

They made it seem like they were going to show proof that the ark was an electrical conductor of some sort. However they did not make the arc a replica at all they put electrical conductors and made it into a boxed battery. What I saw on this program was not a replica of the Ark of the Covenant at all. All I saw was a couple of guys make a battery box of their own design not God's. This in my opinion was a complete and total waste of time and a lack of true vision. The ark does have kind of a precedent from the Royal Egyptian culture in which Moses was raised. If you look at the Shrine of Anubis from King Tut's tomb, it is very similar to the ark even down to the size, the main difference being being the Cherubim instead of Anubis. Also if you read the Antiquities of the Jews by Flavius Josephus (a Jewish historian from the 1st century AD), his description is more along the lines of the Shrine. He never says that God came to rest on the ark, but that Moses had seen creatures like the Cherubim close to the Throne of God.

It was a relic from the pyramid power system. The top has two spheres aka keruvim or cabbages. It is common practice to use metal spheres as a spark gap. In this case you have to use solid gold balls connected to the power source. The spheres will have connectors on them like blade connectors that you could call wings. The box is the Leyden jar and the gold balls are the double sphere rather than one as was done.

The reason why this model did not perform as expected was because, like most non-Torah observers, they thought they could substitute other materials ("oh, this piece of some random medal from a junkyard will work just as well as gold"). Whereas the ancient Jews knew to use exactly what G-d said.

Plus, with the carrying poles that were not to be removed, it could have fit. Have a look at the Anubis Shrine from King Tut's Tomb. The ark, aside from Anubis likely looked like that. The design, materials, and even size are essentially the same.

@@jonmahr9410 Well your point is good your examples are not. I think hes saying you believe the whole bible or none. Not talking about following it. Also the laws you talk about are the old testament. The bible contains the new testament which is the new covenant and does not contain those laws any more. In fact the new testament says that the purpose of the laws is so that sin would increase and make everyone guilty of it. Thats important so we can all be forgiven, knowing that there is none righteous no not even one. Its all part of Gods plan of salvation. What do I believe? Well there are things in the bible that dont make any sense to me so I dont believe those things. I keep thinking about them tryhing to make it make sense to me and consider differnt interpretations. Anyway, I believe everyone is saved because Jesus died for everyone and we are helplessly born into sin. The first adam brought sin intot the world and it was applied to everyone, and the Second Adam (Jesus) brought righteousness and it is applied to everyone in the same way. Why? Because God loves the people.

Why not try building a small version of the Arc of the Covenant using ratio and proportion to duplicate the original Arc with the exact materials such gold and wood as the dielectric materials? With the wings of the two angels as spark gap. Charging the Arc through friction such as hand rub, they could somehow prove something. Even a small spark could shed a light to a dark mystery of the past. I am not against the video presentation, but in fact marvels and amazes at the team determination to throw some lights at the unexplained phenomenon of the Arc of the Covenant. Only on this video that I learned that the Arc of the Covenant might have been a form of a capacitor like the Leydan jar capable of storing large amount of electricity. For this reason, kudos to you all folks. I hope you will have more interesting videos to share with. Thank you.

Two most controversial things noticed right on the intro: -Miryam's wild steering moves without rolling the jeep in the rough Sinai desert; -John's leather wizard hat. Another thing, less controversial - complete lack of indication of year of making this documentary on YT. The further back it's done, the more impressive, or pioneering. However large the stretch to fit the narrative, it has something, at least the formula endlessly repeated later on history documentaries.

There are so many Historical and scientific inaccuracies in this video it makes my head hurt. "There are so many discrepancies in the bible." I get how people can see that because at a glance it seems to but, If you study the bible (really spend the time) you start to see that it doesn't at all. Also, believing the bible enough to build the ark then saying the rest of the old testament can't be believed? if you can't believe one part of the bible why believe another part? Also, the way the journalist totally disrespected the Hieroglyphs is maddening. Even A non archaeologist knows that you don't go around touching artifacts like that. The oils on your skin can make that already fragile hieroglyphs disintegrate! If you really wanted to replicate it, you real gold. That is the only way to truly do it. There is no way that the experiment could work because it wasn't a true model. Also, it makes sense that the box would be similar. Moses was raised by the Pharaoh's family, the rest of the Israelites were slaves, it would have made sense for them to build something similar to the Egyptians even with God instruction them, because that is all they would have known. Akenaton couldn't have been Moses because Akenaton came after Moses. Its more likely that being part of the royal family, He grew up hearing about Moses and his God and was impressed by the power and, once Pharaoh, led his people to do the same. Next time please make sure that you also consult religios experts as well. That is the only way you can truly get all the facts combined with science. I still can't believe I watched the entire thing. If I could leave a 1000 dislikes I would.

Moses thought he was Egyptian until he found out the truth that he was an Israelite. Moses went from Egypt had an encounter with the true living God and followed Him and brought the Israelites out of bandage. There is no where in the bible that says Moses was a Pharaoh. It also discusses the production and use of monatomic gold and the ark. fascinating information. I won't even attempt to describe it. But definitely worth reading. Where are they gonna get enough gold to cover a giant box though? Like, you do realize that gold is extremely, EXTREMELY expensive right? A kilogram of gold costs around $40,000, god only know how many kilograms of the stuff they'd need to actually make a 1:1 replica of the Ark. It'd definitely cost millions of dollars - millions of dollars that these people, understandably, would not have. Them going to the scrapyard to get substitute metals might not be the best science, but given how none of them seem to be filthy stinking rich it was probably their only option.

Its a good theory but what they forgot was the lid was made of gold also so the layer of gold on the inside and the layer of gold on the outside were bridged or connected by the lid meaning that its not a capacitor, Also both cheribs were fixed to the gold lid so only if there is way for one to be connected to the gold layer inside of the box and the other to the outside would they be able to create an arc and thats if it even works as a capacitor. The only thing i learned from this is Egypt has some beautiful archeological sites.

So this documentary leaves out a lot of facts from the bible and also seems to suggest that Israelites are in fact Egyptians who ran away with their magician king with a lot of tricks kkkk. The ark based on the scriptures clearly outlines that only the priests were allowed to touch it without any repercussions and if any unauthorised person touched it they died. Also, the Philistines took it to their God and he woke up without his head and hands and they moved it to another city and people had boils and then some died and they then sent it back to the Jews. So how then does an electric box cause so much harm to people who haven't even come close to it, or how do they get boils from a battery-powered box? All l see here is an Egyptian wanting to discredit Christianity and Judaism
