I have a question for all the church going women out there. When was the last time you can remember your church's pastor preaching a sermon on Proverbs 31? Probably never. I attended Promise keepers years ago when I was married and they pushed men to treat their wives like queens. Guess what. Every man I knew that attended promise keepers went through divorce because when they treated their wives like queens, the wives treated him like her servant. Now churces baby women who divorce their husbands and the churces are closing their doors as the men have quit.
@Jaco36884 ай бұрын
Before Social Media, women had but a single source of praise: their husband. The husband was instructed (at places like Promise Keepers) to fulfill the wife’s need for love and adoration. There was a reciprocal balance, as the woman responded positively, with love. After Social Media, the world changed. The entire world is now available to heap praise on a woman: “Oow, baby, you’re so hot!” Etc, etc. A woman’s self-estimation was skewed and she delusionally “ranked” herself as superior to her mate. When her mate heaped the same adulations on his wife, now she saw herself as “deserving” (read: entitled), and him to be stationed LOWER than she. She loses respect for this “simping” slob, because of the hundreds (thousands?) of virtual suitors. She becomes dissatisfied with him, because she fancies herself to be on a plane much higher than he. Ironies of ironies: The only way for a man to combat this modern woman is treat her somewhat callously (yeah, I said it), so she still views him to be superior to her, and she continues to maintain interest in him. Is this screwed up? You bet. But the old modus operandi DOES NOT WORK with today’s modern woman’s inflated view of herself. (Time to take a few arrows for writing this …)

"Easter" (the fertility godess Ishtar) is a pagan fertility ritual that crept into the church. The tradition of sunrise services is also taken from pagan sun worship. We are supposed to be celebrating Christian Passover in recognition of Christ's sacrifice, and that is next week.

I make $11 an hour full time. My wife stays home and takes care of our farm and 5 children. Our house and 3 cars are paid for. It can be done. People aren't willing to give up their keeping up with the Jones' brainwashed American dream. You DO NOT have to be rich. You have to stop living the American idiot lifestyle. I am saying this as a 39 year old not some guy who had a great job for 30 years. I didn't even have an income during the "pandemic." We said no to the evil government "mandates" and God worked miracles. If you live by faith God makes the ends meet, not you. It's not a logical dollars in dollars out scenario. It's a do the right thing first without worrying about money and God takes care of you scenario. (Matthew 6:33) Everyone does the exact opposite of what Jesus said and worries about the "things" he referenced FIRST. God says righteousness FIRST, things SECOND... Actually He doesn't. He says don't worry about the THINGS at all. He says the things will come as a result of obedience by faith. Compare our current life with our life 5 years ago. We only had 2 children then. We had the quintessential beautiful suburban 5 bed 3 bath house on a hill with manicured front yard and 2 car attached garage, bonus room, and short commute to work.. I made a lot more money then... yet we were less happy, more stressed. The key is to stop living like a typical American idiot. Stop being a slave to the bank. Make sacrifices. Find a woman who isn't a covetous idiot who can deal with that. Find a man who leads by faith not finances. My wife and I's siblings all make more income and live unhappy lives in their beautiful middle class American dream nightmare because that's what everyone is told to do and they obey. 3 out of 6 of them are divorced. They put in the hard work at their careers instead of their households and they paid the price of a broken home for chasing the American nightmare. Choose to not be an American idiot.

All well and good. I hate this word “However”; “curve balls” of assorted types and flavors seek to diminish, incapacitate, the unknowns with no answers, traumatize her, her husband, their marriage. How do they handle it together. Hard lessons from my own marriage. Many were the times I wished I could step out of time due to the complexities that confronted us, so I could calm down, look at the problems from various perspectives, find the best solutions, then enter back into time and do the right thing. I don't have MS, yet I have brain malfunctions; they seem to happen more often the older I get. When I was younger, we used the expression of "getting lucky" to mean having BR fun; nowadays, my idea of "getting lucky" is walking into a room and remembering WHY I walked in there! As for the church, I was going to return in the Before Time; I was looking for a church before COVID. Unfortunately, no church within an hour or so drive of me pushed back against the governor's mandates. Even when I attended church, the vast majority of women were CINOs, or Christians in Name Only; from my POV, there was little difference between most church women and those of the world. The vast majority of "Christian" women had the Jezebel spirit; shoot, they WERE Jezebel! I saw few or no fruits of Christianity in them. As for the Amish and their shunning of technology, David Knight explained where they draw the line. They ask themselves if, by adopting X, will they still be self sufficient? Will they have to depend on the outside world? That's why they still use the horse and buggy; they can make and repair them totally themselves and not depend on anyone in the outside world to help them.

If women want men this is the thing, we want wives, in most based and non brainwashed men's minds it's this and it's so simple that any woman could do it, Wait till marriage, not sleep around once and think it doesn't matter, we want virgins, Loyal as in don't think about selling your loyalty for anything and stand with us through it all, Fit as in maintain your weight and figure, feminine not feminist, this means don't think your strong and independent, you're not, think about it like this, if you and a man were in the wilderness what would your role be in such a dynamic, that's feminine, friendly as in be kind, understanding and treat us like a person as in treat us properly we have emotions we just control them better, just cause we're logical doesn't mean we don't have feelings. Appeal to our masculine nature and don't try to change it, you won't.

The housewife was taught home economics. Keep up the house in every way and educate the children. Not an easy task at all. It was her job, her duty just like the duty of the man to protect and provide. It was an essential role for the family to even exist. Now that role has been discarded as old fashioned and it's our that suffer for it.

Acts 18:26 "this man therefore began to speak boldly in the synagogue. Whom when Priscilla and Aquila heard, they took him to them, and expounded to him the way of the Lord more diligently". Aquila was Priscilla's husband and she would have not spoken since it was not proper for woman to speak in public or in the synagogues at that time, her husband was with her. Funny how this woman who wrote the article didnt mention the husband Aquila.

If I am not mistaken nowhere in the bible is a man prescribed to trust a woman, let alone his wife. However, in the passage read it does say such a woman is one a husband would trust. It balances out his trust in her with her being good to him. So let that sink in. If a woman wants her man to trust her she needs to be good to him. It is not something owed her. It is something she earns.

X/millennial border. But I would say I expected a split of tasks based on what makes sense... laundry wasn't a woman's job, but if I was doing it she would be changing the oil or mowing the lawn. What actually happened was I started doing half the shit she was expected to do and left to do all the "male" shit or it wouldn't get done. So I had 75% of the house work and was the sole breadwinner on top of it. Don't fall for it men, you will burn out and lose half your shit... being blamed for the failure.

Soooooo…. Proverbs is a daily read. Meaning you read proverbs 1 on the 1st day of the month. And so on and so on. It’s not a mistake that the T thing was given for 3/31. If you are not right w GOD by excepting Jesus and have not read or know the BIBLE then I suggest you start today. It’s better to believe and be proven right then to not believe and proven wrong. If you don’t believe this as spiritual war we are living then you are not right w the lord. Ever wonder why THEY atttack CHRISTIANS and the BIBLE so much? Then go read it and learn what it teaches us.

Marriage is not a government institution. The scripture refers to paying taxes and being law abiding. Mans law is followed so long as it doesn't come into opposition to God's law.
@tonyandreotti78304 ай бұрын
It also says marriage is between a man and a woman, and is a bond before God forever not just until to decide you don't want to be married anymore. And the government decide to include its self in marriage a long time ago. Now a wife can leave for any reason and leave with the house, kids, and cash and prizes. Do you live under a rock

44:55 -- RE: The Amish and the Anabaptists; It is funny you mention them, because I frequently also think about how beautiful their culture is in terms of applying Gospel teachings to everyday situations, and at the same time I see how I would have trouble submitting myself entirely as a potential "bride" of that Body. They are Pacifists, but even so, they never let the Sun go down on their anger, either. How long has it been since you saw the film "Witness" (1985)? No, it isn't particularly religious, but it does give one heck of a decent image of how the Gospel is Applied for daily living and it isn't undesirable to many of us, Secularists included. Full disclosure -- I started out with a religious upbringing mostly with the encouragement of my Mother, and after university I swung harder to the Secularist side. I took the time to struggle with my faith as an adolescent and a young adult, and perhaps it was just as well I didn't stay "Fanatical" for the decades since, because I knew before I left "my church" there would sooner or later not be a place in it for me, anyway, because of the Lobbyists and the Agendas and the lack of Faith in the principles. In other words, "Fanaticism" doesn't sit well with some people, and some fanatics don't make it any easier on themselves, either, by refusing to acknowledge the doings of the Holy Spirit in the here and the now.

31:45 -- RE: What Wisdom Literature is she referring to?; The Torah is divided into categories of writing. There are books on the Law, and there are decidedly more philosophical texts as well, such as Psalms (which we presume are liturgical in nature, types of poems and songs which can serve a function within worship), the book of Proverbs (which reads like Aphorisms to my modern eyes), the Song of Solomon, the book of Ecclesiastes, and others. These are called the Wisdom books, because as I said below, they are Positive in nature, *Not* Proscription.

^^ I think you're still right about it being a secret feminist writing for the Dot Com, by the way. What I'm ultimately judging, though, is that the secret feminist is very likely to use partial Truth in order to Lie by Omission. It *Is* true, Proverbs has to do with Wisdom literature; that doesn't remove its validity or make it "hand-wave-able".

42:15 -- RE: "They're erasing Roles, right in front of our face."; Oh I dunno about that. The Rarity of Good Women does not make it the Rule, or even the Standard, or the necessary pattern which serves a particular Function. I also think that it is mistaken to use *Early* Christian analysis of the analogy between Husband and Wife with Christ and the Church as being some form of explanation or Rule Book for how women should behave before they even have a husband. The Wisdom in Proverbs 31 is to describe an Ideal which isn't Transcendent, as in, we do see and marry such women from time to time.

The truth is most men won't set up defined roles because he automatically defers all authority to the woman. He does this because the implicit threat is understood by society, that she will blow up the relationship at any moment if her feminist conditioning is triggered. The problems with relationships start and end there.

In this way the woman arrests the society and actively works to prevent mortality, truth and justice.

first off all, every woman wants children, so have atleast some money, depending on which country and area of course, child support is an issurance that costs 200k, each woman needs 200k, maybe less, maybe just 50k idk the price, all I know most woman cant pay that but still want the insurance of child support, so most woman are not qualified in the first place, since all woman want children, which is ofc a legit demand Everything else just comes after, feminism put a forced insurance called child support on all men, decided by woman and this is now the price, all created by woman, just ask a woman, should a man allowed to pay not anymore for children if he doesnt, and most woman will say he is not allowed, so they see it as insurance, so let them pay for the insurance

First off...you have a very pretty smile and are very sharp. I am an older male who has lost his wife. The problem with women and relationships will go on for at least a generation, this wont be a 5 or 10 year fix. Since my wife's death I have been keel hauled by women...one slapped me in the face because I opened a door in a fast food place for her. I value the days when I have nothing to do with women, I think the problems are deeper than they appear. The using and abusing women do only gets worse as they get older (mental abuse). Their self centeredness in public is amusing and sometimes I can't keep from laughing out loud. Most of them need to see a shrink and establish some personal identity, which most of them are lacking. It only gets worse as they get older.
@lepotdefleur99064 ай бұрын
The slapping in the face I find weird, is it only in big cities or is it an cultural thing? I did get some weird look but never been slapped for opening doors on women or men, usually get a thank you and maybe a smile.
