Finally i remember i commented on your video on February 4 when you were testing the 6.5" versions and i told you that you were using the wrong type of Rockville to test you should use the RM64PRO. This is even better you are testing the 8" version now, the midbass from these bad boys are really good when they are in an enclosure.

I still think dollar for dollar the Rockville PROs are one of the best deals out there. I have the 6.5" and paired up with a cheapo Soundstream Arachnid components sets crossover and tweeter I actually think it sounds damn pretty decent. I am doing research to replace and upgrade it all but not because it sounds awful just because I have upgraditis and shooting for real SQ in an affordable budget. but it sounds good enough that I will repurposing this setup to my truck, it has my baby system. The woofer I'm considering replacing the 65pros with is the Silver Flute 6.5 or 8 it has a wool composite cone only one on market and that makes it look really cool, and both sizes are under $50 each I believe at Madisound and other places,I need to do more research before pulling the trigger, it would be a good midbass drivers for you to review. The Dayton AMT tweeter would be a cool in a shootout too.

@@toyotafan1234 If you did your research you would know that this guy previously claimed he had been running rockville products for 3 years without any problems and he loved them. While I'm not defending Rockville for doing what most other companies have doing for decades (using inflated numbers), those Subwoofers that the gentleman is complaining about also have a CEA rating which with a little "research" clearly states that they won't handle their RMS power rating continuously. Honestly, I'd rather trust Mike's opinion than some nobody online for an honest opinion.
