The Warship is literally the best disc in my bag. It is accurate, forgiving and glides forever. I think it is the first disc that I ever felt like I was throwing somewhat correctly. It inspires confidence and should be in every players bag, especially if you are a beginner.

Just picked up a VIP Warship to try it out. It was hard to throw at first but that was just me releasing on an anny. Once I fixed it this disc had such a beautiful glide and small fade at the end. So fun to throw.

The Warship is my go-to mid for shot shaping. Unbelievably consistent. Easy to flip up and have it ride flat, turn it over, or push on hyzer. Probably the disc I use the most in any given round.

I love the warship. If you want a flatter one go for a tournament plastic warship.

Warship is basically the only mid I throw they cycle in so beautifully. You want a tournament plastic one tho. They have a lower shoulder which gives them better feel in the hand and even more forward push which make them go super far. Then Just add vip-x one for more stability and that's all mids you'll ever need Dunno if you can find one, but if you want to check more hidden gems from the westside lineup it would be the Northman. Super straigth glidy 10 speed driver. Not sure if they are even produced at the moment tho.

I really didn't know much about discs at all. I had my first round of 18 last week and bought 2 of a putter and 2 of a mid range to learn with and warship just felt the best in my hand and it didnt have some crazy numbers at the end. I guess I wanted validation of my choice and this video makes me feel pretty comfortable with the idea that I can eventually get this disc to fly straight for me with practice.

It sounds like the Warship is a great disc for all, but especially a beginner (like myself). I just bought a Pathfinder last week, so I won't be trying one soon. But when it's set for a replacement, I'll definitely give the Warship a try.

The best part of throwing the Warship is watching the natural "air bounce" it has. Mine has done like a 10 foot air bounce 50 ft off the tee in a small tailwind

If you want something a little more comfortable in the hand, the gatekeeper is a close second for midrange by Westside. I do like the Warship, but certain plastics are more domey than others. The dome isn't really that much on the tournament orbit plastic. The origio burst plastic is also pretty flat on top.

The warship has been my go to midrange since I got one in the trilogy challenge. Holds any line and is so versatile. I had been debating between a mako3 or buzzz for that slot and for my form the warship just felt better.

The warship is one of my favorite mids out there. Consistently straight for my noodle arms with a bit of fade but not too much, which is nice since I mostly play at wooded courses.

Try the Mako 3, Method and Origin....they are all similar numbers. I bag all three because I can shot shape with them.

I have a beat-in baseline Warship and it flies like a glidier, longer, flippier version of my beat-in baseline Compass. Or like a shorter, more stable version of my beat-in lightweight RIver. Nothing like my C-Line MD3, which is short and straight. Would love to have it in premium plastic to compare.

The greatest injustice to the warship ever done was westside changing the speed from 6 to 5, as a 5 speed really does not do the distance of that disc justice

Wrong: you need to learn about numbers. The Warship has a 14mm rim width, not wide enough for a 6s. They put 6glide to reflect the extra distance. 5speeds are 13-14-15mm rim width. A 6speed is 16mm rim width (there have been rare exceptions at 15mm). A 6speed 4-5 glide goes no farther than a 5speed 6glide.

Warship is fairly loved tho. I think the most underrated one has to be the Sling, the Pine or the Core.

Warship isn’t underrated everyone knows it’s awesome. The pine is super underrated and more like a emac truth. And the mace is a super dope underrated discs. And the gate keeper. Oh and the claymore is awesome. All those better that the truths out there

The problem with the warship is it doesn’t stay in the sweet spot for very long - I think this is one problem with shoot from the hip reviews is they don’t give you a long term picture of how a disc will behave. Absolutely fresh new warships are awesome but do not remain consistent enough to trust!

The warship might not even be the most underrated Westside mid. To me that goes to the Gatekeeper. Or really any other mid from Westside since they never make them

Warship was initially labeled a 6 speed, you note the sharper nose. It does feel a little faster to me than the Emac Truth and the Emac Truth is a pretty fast feeling 5 speed. I could never get along with the feel of the Warship I guess, felt like a toy almost, maybe too much glide???

Love the Warship, but it's a very unlucky disc for me. I've lost 3 or 4 of them easily. Probably doesn't help that I suck at disc golf! Lol
