For me, my favourite has taught me skills that I never would have learned otherwise. Makenoise Shared System Plus! Yeah it’s not really just a synth, but it consolidates useful tools for electronic music in a nice package. Arpeggios for days, and the DPO has such a unique sound.

My Prophet 10 rev 4 is my favourite synth, OB-6 second.. never had a minilogue but I did have a Prologue 16 which was very cool with a nice sound.

For me the best hardware synth that is clearly overlooked, that no youtubers talk about : Nord lead A1. For one reason : WORKFLOW! There is not so much modulations in it, but the way everything is simplified, turns this machine into the best ever made! For the Workflow and the way you change sound so quickly, live. I think the nord lead A1 is really misunderstood...

Nice how to video for the minilogue xd, I like this synth too and have 2 of the modules with the 2nd in slave mode and the first in master mode which give you 8 voices. Program from module 1 and module 2 follows. It's pretty cool and I have it right next to my master controller keyboard with the 2nd minilouge module hidden out of the way. I like at the 2 modules as a $1000 8 voice analog poly. Not a Prophet 6, but 2 more voices and 1/3 of the price or so. Really great production synth.

And time to expand on my synths all good .. 24 /7 their on my table and their as good as having turntables .!

I don't get it either... Maybe folks don't really take the time to learn what it can do? I must admit, it's a bit of a dark horse. You have to stray from the beaten path to find it's secret doorway. But once you find it, there is nothing you can't make with it
