Benjamin Rogers It shall not happen, Tuomas, can not be stopped! All attempts shall be futile! Because we, The Nightwish Army, shall stand our ground. I have seen several other reactors refer to them as the modern day Queen, and I have to agree, their members are all very competitively skilled, not just at the level of international fame, which they obviously have, but each member is an icon individually. And Floor is firmly in the top seeds for title of best living vocalist on the planet. She blows everyone away every time. Unbelievable.

@@Pitchblackbones More to that - Marko, the basist is astronomy enthusiast, maybe not as established as Brian May, but I wouldn't say he hasn't read and learned enough about the topic. He's the cowriter of The Greatest Show on Earth. Also, Floor always wanted to be a biologist, and Tuomas wanted to be a marine biologist. The amount of hardcore science in the band is astonishing.

I know there are great singers out there. What sets Floor apart is how powerful, and the emotion she puts into the songs. I have never heard anyone else that draws these kind of emotions from people even without the lyrics. She is so amazing. I have been reading and watching reviews about this album. I know not everyone is going to like it. What I don't understand how in the h*ll!!! that they cannot hear how grand Floor, the music, the musicianship, Tuomas's composing and lyrics are. There are some that have acknowledged their talent. I think people have got to start getting the genre of symphonic metal out of their minds for this band. I don't think Nightwish fits into any one genre. I think they are their own genre. Thank you for looking up the info about this song and sharing it. That makes the song mean so much more. And I know Tuomas's lyrics are sometimes hard to figure out. That is why getting some info helps. Also I appreciate the time you spend on your reactions and that they are well thought out. I look forward to hear what you think about the other songs you have not done yet. Please take care and stay safe.

Nightwish really has grown up or grown out from their past genres. Power metal, folk metal, symphonic metal. I believe also that we can safely say they have own genre now, and there is only one band in that genre, Nightwish. I have liked everything what Tuomas has wrote, starting from first album. But this new album is really something else. For me, it is just now number one album. - And so it is also in German and Finland album charts ! :D

Good Lord, what a beutifull morning to me. Your face was brillant. I love this masterpiece. Floor in the interview say that Music and Shoemaker was a big vocal challenge to her. It's right, both song have very complex, progresive structur. At the moment, Tuomas is one of the best composer in the world. He mix a beutifull, strong Floor voice and soft and Warm Troy voice. I think that this song is the best tribute to Mr. Shoemaker and his work. Fun fact. This song isn't first Nightwish tribute to someone. Try High Hopes from End of the Era show.

Sky is the limit doesnt apply on Tuomas, even universe isnt the limit apparently... I love this song, that last part makes me cry.. and Floors voice? Not from this world..She found the perfect band and they found the perfect singer to be the best of themselfs... I wish they would come to Greece to see Floor singing this live...

Lol told you, you will be blown from your chair ... Your face was telling enough again ... I hope they will be here in the Netherlands in November .. but seeing how the crisis is going .. maybe we need to wait a little longer ... and i am actually learning the Tribal dance ... lol But to this album you said this song is an experience .. Yes it is ... and sometimes in this album, you need to learn the song to know .. as sometimes i had something like .. ehm... ok ... but then when hearing it more and more .....listening to the lyrics , listening to the instruments ... This is like you said an experience ... Great reaction as always johnny

Are you wondering how you can survive the studio experience just think of you listening to this live! It’s most Nightwish long for , their albums are great, but live it’s epic and lifetime experiences, next I would suggest Tribal if you haven’t reacted to it already!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

I appreciate that you did the research, looking at the video after what you shared, I don't know what the view from the Shoemaker crater looks like, but I'm personally sure Tuomas intended to present the idea that the video ended within the crater, just as Shoemaker himself was buried within. I strongly suggest that you check out 1) how's the heart and 2) tribal off of this album, they are both excellent, you won't be disappointed. Also, off of the instrumental back half of the album, check out "moors". No vocals, but it will knock your socks clean off, I assure you!

to create a song like this is really something. toumas creates it all, and it sounds amazing, but you don't want to be able to create it. only a few people have the capacity to function well with the amount of mental processes that come with it

They are not just creating music like others... They are destroying you emotionally through your ears. This band is on godlike level now with Floor and Troy and you can hear that with them Tuomas has the power again to create music like noone else can.

Shoemaker is the only human buried on a celestial body other than earth, but not the only one "buried" in space in general. Some of the ashes of Clyde Tombaugh, the discoverer of Pluto, were sent to space with the New Horizons probe.

You are so wright Nimwey. I also loved the Wembley version. I have a sleeping distortion: since 7-8 month (and yes; since De Beste Zangers) every time I awake with a song off Nightwish and Floor's voice. Is this normal; am I losing it? Is my brain playing tricks with me? Can this be cured?
