Okay, I am subscriber 867! Brings back memories, we embarked into a similar project in 1999 in very rural Ireland, with two small boys, water and trees were a priority. But the very modest timber house wasn’t off grid as we earned our living via the Internet (which was sooo slow in the first 10-15 years). All the best to your project!

I absolutely love Portugal, as I grew up in Brazil I speak Portuguese (though it sounds extremely different from the Portuguese spoken in Portugal, especially in Northern Portugal).
