I made a short quote tweet thread about why this is real saying mostly the same things, however I did add that not only did alot of Sonic movie 2 renders use alot of renders from the first movie in it's marketing, but that not everything that leaks is 100% final. That Knuckles render could always be a placeholder. Even some of the Sonic Movie 2 popcorn buckets and cups used movie 1 renders. But the reason I think some people are saying this is fake is because of the large amount of fake leaks recently, and that people aren't seeing the full uncropped image with the other buckets.

Most people would definitely not want another Sonic X situation, I included. Now I’m not saying that Amy should be in the movie, I’m just saying that they shouldn’t use a human character as a stand-in.

@@bladezerlol no they don't they want her in the movie because they want a romantic scene between her and Sonic and as for Shadow's redemption arc that can be arranged knowing Movie Sonic's backstory he is the one that fits to do so same as Knuckles and Tails and who knows ???? Maybe it will be a flashback of Maria or a VHS Tape or something will change him as for Amy in the movie Amy in SA2 was always annoying and standing in their way she even admitted it at the end of game herself and btw the game didn't focus on her that much

I like the way everyone wrongly accuses Paramount of being responsible for the recent leaks when it's the sites that are responsible. The McDonald's figurines were leaked by McDonald's, the other figurines were leaked because the company that manufactured them did not try to be vigilant about them. Paramount plans to release the trailer this month and I don't see what the problem is there. Especially since from what I know, Shadow was not fully seen. Every time there is a leak about him, his CGI design is not fully seen. Even in this image, it's a little hard to see it because it's blurry.

@@SCTerraconStudios Literally in the first 25 seconds, he says that he can't confirm if it's valid or not. Also he was tight lipped on who sent him the image. If I knew who sent the image, I could go and see what else they've posted and check how much of it is true. But there's no way to do this unless we know who the source is. I would like to hope it's real, but I can't safely say whether it is or not.

So an update. This is real, Mason did in fact get ordered to take his video down, he cannot talk about who told him to take the video down because there was personal information, and also this video will probably be taken down as well. It fooled me because of the blurry image coupled with the reluctance to cite a source, and because history has proven too many leaks to be fake. But no, this is the real thing, and the company that made these is e-mailing people to take down any videos talking about it. This will absolutely be taken down.

I don't know to be honest if it's fake because for all we know they just got some concepts for popcorn buckets and then Cooks up and then put like stuff that can make it look like a popcorn bucket made for the other movies if you were to show a popcorn bucket that we haven't seen and later on that same popcorn bucket is shown then I believe it's real

Ok, update. This is in fact real, and will likely be taken down either today or tomorrow. Mason did get contacted by the company that made these and was asked to take down a video talking about them. They are e-mailing everyone who posted videos about this and asking them to be removed. So yes, this is real and this will absolutely get taken down for sure.

This popcorn bucket is definitely real. It can't be fan-made if it's just showing when when other movies popcorn buckets besides Sonic Movie 3. And like you said Sonic 2 use the same render from the first Sonic Movie for their promotions. And I think the only reason that these people are calling it fake especially Mason is because after all of the fake news about Sonic movie 3 getting a trailer release date or many fake leaks just made us so delusion to the point that we don't believe on everything that is from the people who talks about Sonic 3. And there's even people trying to put the blame is on Paramount for not releasing the trailer when they literally haven't even finished CGI the film yet. And even if they actually did finish the CGI then they could have just dropped the trailer already or just drop it tomorrow and just pull out a teaser that says "trailer coming tomorrow" but the fake news justm made us so delusion. So that is what I'm just trying to say here. We don't need any more Sonic fans being so delusional when it comes to news and we don't want to hear anyone announcing the trailer to be released. we just wanted Paramount to announce the trailer to release because it's not like these people work at Paramount.

Ok so hear me out on this one. So this popcorn bucket is a hexagon right? And it has the characters on it (sonic, shadow, knuckles etc.) If you count up the sides, including the Sonic the hedgehog 3 logo, we would have sonic 3 logo, sonic, tails, knuckles, and shadow taking up up sides. But there is still 1 side of the hexagon left after that. So if this popcorn bucket is real, Could this mean there is an unannounced character on the popcorn bucket? Interesting that the image shows Shadow but focused on Knuckles so you can’t get a good enough look at Shadow to tell how official it is. Leak could be fake then unless that’s a convincing new render of Knuckles. I get that they reuse renders, but I’d be more convinced if there was a new render particular because Knuckles is the focus of the photo. In a leak. That by chance just happens to do all the thing fake leaks do. Could still be real.
