Thank you for your hard work (if you call playing/testing RC vehicles work). The videos are entertaining and informative. Your video helped me decide to get my cousin this vehicle. I’m glad you told us that it has 3 limitation sets. So she can have it go slow enough for her young boys or go fast for herself.

I've seen a few videos of this Yeti Jr and been pretty impressed. In some crawling situations it keeps up with the Gen8, Trx4, Scx10 II, etc. And in some situations it can go places those bigger trucks can't make it.

Wow, that looks like a lot of fun to drive! I like that it is a "Can-Am" (Canadian-American) which comes from the name of a series of small off-road vehicles made by Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP), the Canadian company who invented the snowmobile (the Ski-Doo) and the water going equivalent, the Sea-Doo. They named their off-road 4 wheel vehicles after the old Can-Am formula racing series that took place from the 1960s, on and off, until 1999. [slight addendum....it turns out that the body design is licensed from Bombardier! It's a licensed Can-Am® Maverick X3 body.]

Rowdy106 I doubt it. The 1/8 Yeti was a piece of crap imo. I also had the 1/10 and it sucked for handling. Sold both and I went back to the legendary HPI savage. My built Flux HP XL is the best truck I’ve had hands down. I’ll never change my mind, ever! But yes, this truck has my attention and for the small price on it, I just may have to get one and try it out.

That is one of my other hobbies besides Rc cars drones. I will have to order one of these now.

Yes we do still own this RC, and we still own the original. Honestly, we like the original more. This Can-Am is cool though because when laired with 1/10 crawlers it looks pretty scale. It performs well, but stock it can only take NiMh batteries which is a pretty big turn off for us. Still glad we own it though! Hope this helps! The style looks really good, and the rear-hinged body is a plus. Definitely some shock dampening going on there (yay!). Not so sure about the overall performance, though; zippy thing on hard, flat surfaces, but I would expect it to high-center and/or roll annoyingly often in thick grass or on rocky/uneven surfaces. Definitely a basher rather than a crawler. All said, it feels like the $150 price tag is really steep for what you are getting. Later in the video I noticed the drivetrain was making a grinding sound, like maybe one of the gears or the motor had a rock in it. Hope it was just a bit of grit and you were able to clear it. How was the runtime on the stock battery? Too bad the ESC is not LiPo-compatible (odd design decision, to say the least 🤔).
