No butter drinking , always break in half best way to get the most flavor into the meat. One great recipe after cooking is placing on the BBQ with a garlic chive butter wrapped in tin foil and warming back up letting the butter and garlic to soak into the meat. Absolutely delicious

Poke holes is canned cat food. The best crab bait ever! Chickens OK but cat food was the best! My grandma used to say any month without an R in it was the best month for crab.

Boys u took me back.there was a dock at a fish plant in Vancouver we used to catch them hot and line.trick was to bring them up real slow and have the net ready .I was about 7 lol

Here's a interesting tid bit for u..... if I boil the crabs whole and eat them I have to ram a EpiPen into my leg. The dr. Said I couldn't eat them anymore, then someone showed me to clean them first like u did on the driveway, then boil them. And I have 0 problems eating them

Thats why I use crab snares that are relatively flat -- much easier to get the big ones over it where they can be snared more easily.

The fluorescent orange (rock bass) with the fluorescent green eyes I caught in Bella Bella, BC were the best eating along with butter clams in the Pacific NW

You need to get the ring snares they sell at the garabaldi store instead of the box snares you fined everywhere else. The rings snares are heavier and actually lay the lines even and flat so you can actually grab crabs. definitely a better product
