Is This The BEST Water Park In Spain?

I visit Aqualandia Benidorm one of the biggest and best water parks in mainland Spain? some of the comments on Tripadvisor would say so, It's early in the season so not many people are around, Is it any good? Let's find out

It was 1986 and I was just 10. It felt like we walked for miles in the scorching heat to Benidorms brand new water park. I was so excited and we all needed to cool off. Unfortunately, it was closed and the opening was delayed. We were offered free tickets for the next week but we wouldn’t be there then so slightly gutted to say the least.

Whilst I am not a water park person, it looked nicely laid out. Very advisable to avoid the back breaking slides/drops!

Looks great, nicely laid out, plenty of green grass, nice plants etc. Would have loved it when I was younger. Being the wrong end of 50's nearly 60 doubt I could handle drops like that with my dodgy back these day's haha in my 20's no problem. These places are great for younger people and kids and can see why lot's of people like to go to Benidorm when you've places like this to visit 😀👍great vid Tim

That's a well nice water park, thanks for showing it 👍 I have to agree with the crazy paving and walking bare foot, since it increases the risk of foot problems by walking on hard surfaces. I like the jacuzzi as it looks quite relaxing

I used to live in spain and we used to go to a very similar water park called aquapolis and walking barefoot through that was agony. It was like walking on hot coals and you often had to queue up and stand on the same spot for ages, it was torture.

When you say about capsule. It’s actually called a trap door slide. It is not the tallest in the world. It is 108.3 ft while the tallest trap door slide is in the USA, which is 142 ft. However, the vertigo, that you are talking about is the tallest trap door slide in Europe.

This was a lovely looking Water Park 🏞️ i loved the Flowers! In fact probably sunbathing in the sun gazing at the flowers would make me happy enough 😂 The Rides looked far too adventurous for me, but great to see you enjoying yourself! Those Sunbeds i would definitely be on them! Those really high rides with lots of stairs are very challenging! That Blue & White ride looked like a massive Trombone crazy how you slide thru that! I found that red slide frightening 😬it was so high up, it would give an adrenaline rush if your fit enough to take it! I always wonder how you manage to keep your legs crossed while on the slides Tim! My legs would be all over the place!😂That Jacuzzi was wild! Lots of undercurrents & froth! The Green Lush Mountains reminded me of Turkey i liked the Turkish Mountains! Nice it was so quiet for you Tim but it wasnt totally deserted. Bet it gets chaotic when the Parks really busy. £26 Wow! thats really good value if you love Water Parks thats a great price!!!

I miss waterparks so much. I have a long-term suprapubic catheter with a urine collection bag attached to my leg. Seriously loved the shoots and slides and being unable to visit these places is sore for me...😔😔😔

I've been to Costa Caribe, the Waterpark next to Porta Aventura and Ferrari land. As a package of get all 3 parks it is value for money and very much worth doing. As for the Waterpark itself....I'd give it 6/10 Fair. I've been to about 30 Waterparks in my many years.

Absolutely love this place. One downside to my trip is my family are all chickens so I was alone going on most of the bigger slides/rides but it was fun regardless.

Never seen the park so quiet, if you are ever in the area with the family Aqua Natura is a better water park for families with little ones. It's a smaller park but more family friendly with lighter crowds even in the high season. It's near Terra Mittica with the animal park next door. Maybe you could try a hotel visit to the Robin Hood resort which is halfway between Benidorm and Albir (we always stay in Albir rather than Benidorm in the summer, only 10 mins in a cab but a lovely quiet town) Robin Hood looks amazing, we keep meaning to try a stay there, it has its own Water Park, Playgrounds and even a medieval jousting dinner experience (they filmed that in the Benidorm TV series)

I have a house in Benidorm and have been to this place plenty of times it is an amazing place to visit and the drop ride is the 6th most dangerous in the world because if you are t light you will fly off the side amazing water park though thanks Tim 😂

Back in 2010 I went to there with my mates on my stag weekend. I was dared to ride the tallest slide, and it wasn't a capsule back then. You just hopped in and slid. It was quite the thing as you left the surface of the water on the drop. Being with my mates we just held onto each other's gear. The place was mostly full of Spanish people, as few tourists hiked up from the beach on foot.

@@WalkWithMeTim sorry to hear that Tim! Best to see a GP if it's an infection & not just ear wax it may need special prescription drops not ear suction. I've suffered with many ear infections, one time I lost my hearing altogether in one ear & I had to take prescription ear drops for 6 weeks! Best to get it checked over with a GP just to be on the safe side!

​@@WalkWithMeTimI wouldn't recommend Olive Oil down your ears Tim or any home remedies, Olive Oil is good for softening ear wax but it won't remove it. And it might make an ear infection worse.
