8:20, we're accustomed to it. Yeah, that's the thing. Also, it rarely gets as cold as in this video. While hot weather is pleasant, it comes with numerous drawbacks. I remember being in Cyprus last summer, I never imagined that hot weather could be so challenging! I was suffering every single second, even indoors.

from someone who lives in Canada, where it is possible to go down to minus 45 C although it hasn't even gotten close this winter......when you are not used to the cold, it turns out warm climate people are slow to react and are more succeptable to hypothermia, so don't wait until you are shivering. Twins wow that is a big jump from none to two, by now they have probably been born....congratulations
@sandercohen554311 ай бұрын
Northern sweden has very similar climate. Milder by the coast though. Stockholm climate is not that different from north germany, or in the UK. A little colder, a little less daylight in the winter and vice versa, but otherwise, not that big difference. Lappland usually reaches below -30 in the winter, and i have family up there, so i go there for christmas. Always found it curious how it can feel way colder when its just a few degrees below zero due to the humid air, than when it's below -20. Between 15 and 25 you barely notice the difference, cause the air tends to be much dryer.

Mate, as a South African, I fully get your comments on the weather... I think us people from down-South simply need vitamin-D and lots of sunshine to operate! For this very reason, I'm not living in Northern Europe, but in the South-Mediterranean... All the best with the twins... I guess by now it's close... thinking of you guys, and it was a very wise decision to go to a place where you are familiar with the medical setup, doctors, etc. Take care!

How come movies and TV doesn't show us with dripping noses? It's a constant during the winter! Knit hat, warm gloves, insulated jacket, thermal underwear, that's how we live in cold places. That and taking a holiday in January or February to go somewhere we can complain about the heat sitting at the beach or around a pool. Love,y video of a lovely couple soon to have a couple of lovely children!

Hi from a swede. It's not the king's residence. it was but not anymore. 1981 i become Only workplace for our current King, Queen, Crown Princess & her husband Prince Daniel. The king decided when their children were small that it was better to stay at Drottningholm Palace. Because it was a better environment for the children to live there than to live in the middle of town.😊

I can confirm that we have had -16 degrees Celsius, the coldest so far in Stockholm. The water behind the couple is salty and with a lot of boat traffic. But 20 years ago it was cold for longer periods. At that time, large parts of Stockholm's archipelago were frozen and long skating tours across the fjords were possible. We miss it a lot.
