It was a great visit from Ryan! I was glad to finally have a fellow turf nerd at the course. We spent several hours talking turf. Thanks for the video pal.

just ordered a couple more bags of the Rye Elite, I'm pulling weeds by hand and trying to smooth out the hill I have since the seed keeps sliding down the hill during the hard rain falls we've had recently! Going to try and have my open house of the shop as soon as I can get the in floor heat hooked up and running! Take care and don't work too hard bud!

If you want to talk to someone who did bermuda in your region you should talk to my uncle Steve. He and my dad both went to U of I champaign. He managed the Robinson Country Club grounds for his entire life and still helps them after retiring. They switched over to bermuda a while back because their members preferred it and wanted it. I remember him talking about it when they did all of the work.

I live in IN and can testify that we have the worse roads 🤣 We always have a cut off from Indy to Fort Wayne during Winter months where there's a big snow storm or ice storm. The messy mixed precipitation winters contribute to the 💩 roads.

Not as much because of texture and height of cut

I live in Columbus Ohio, about 3 mi directly north of the OSU turf Grass facility. I'm curious if RD's fields in the Columbus area have to do with the Columbus Crew or their practice fields. There's also a fairly large facility in Hilliard Ohio, or maybe closer to Plain City, and of course all the colleges and universities have a field

Ryan, I have a mostly GCI TTTF lawn in central Ohio. I want to overseed this fall. I was thinking about using your elite PRG. What do you think? We have had a severe drought this summer and I’m worried about a more than 50% loss of my lawn. I have just over 0.5 acres. No irrigation other than my own hoses and sprinklers. HELP!!
@ryanknorrlawncare4 ай бұрын
If you lost fescue then the rye would not have made it either, unfortunately. I prefer to keep it a little lower cut like 2-2.5" max so that usually doesn't go as well together with fescue
@B_Rad4Real4 ай бұрын
So I hear that if you over seed Rye it’ll mess your lawn up. I have Bermuda and live in north Texas. I’m not sure but I do use some of your products as many here. They say it’s the worst you can do as it take nutrients from your Bermuda Grass. Can some enlighten me please.

Dirty vehicle… finally something I can help YOU with. After a deep clean including a clay-bar to decontaminate the paint. After that go for a cheap ceramic product - Turtle Wax ceramic is easy ti apply and does a good job for under $20. You also car bar and uber clean the windshield and use the ceramic sprat on that and bugs and dirt will not stick to your windshield. Rain rolls right off it as well.

We got old golf courses that look like abanded or failed Housing tracks like one by one the houses fail and someone takes over and makes it a golf course cause it already graded and has yards then after the golf course fails they turn it to the parks and I've seen a few disk golf courses in surreal perfectly manicured overgrown nuclear wasteland turned back to nature

I absolutely love golf. But, I think it’s gonna be the first thing to be banned when water becomes too scarce. There’s no reason to waste water on grass for a sport in the desert. The carbon cost of simply maintaining a course has to be very high as well.
