I'm not trying to sound pessimistic but having Nvidia boast the most FPS because 75% of those frames are AI generated from the card doesn't really have me excited as far as performance is concerned. Don't get me wrong, I like DLSS and I'm happy to see more performant Ray Tracing and Ray Reconstruction methods as well as the raw performance bumps, but getting away from genuine frames coming from the game engine and calling it better sorta has me worried about the future of gaming.

There’s actually a lot of cool new hardware, but you’re exactly right about the games. The industry is in a bad spot in that there just aren’t enough quality games coming out each year. If there were even two games every year launching that got me as excited as Witcher, Elden Ring, BG3, RDR2, and Cyberpunk then I’d happily dish out money for the best tech more often.

Nice video. Not a criticism, I enjoy your insights. I tend to think prices could go higher if XAI508P rockets. But understand the logic for sandbagging estimates. My opinion is XAI508P breaks 1, perhaps reaches 10 ATH, if conditions are right. But broader forces are at play now. We’re moving into really unknown territory. And these entities are shrewd. I think there’s massive manipulation ahead. If XAI508P survives that, well, we’re likely in for a good pump.

No, stop posting this crap trying to hype up what is shaping up to be just another mediocre year in terms of graphics, except for one, maybe two games. You used to actually be THE source for impartial analyses but now it seems like you're peddling the same poison all the big companies are trying to sell consumers: AI upscaling, TAA, blurry graphics, and subpar performance. DLSS actually makes games look better on quality upscaling. TAA is terrible in every single game. Did you play RDR2 before DLSS update? It was a HUGE improvement to finally get rid of shimmering and jagged edges. DLAA is what needs to be implemented in more games though. Perfect AA solution but you still get native image quality.
