Such an absurd way of finding a new "King of Strava" when you're giving him an unfair advantage, and then being so wowed by the stats at the end. He might have been able to beat those times by himself, but can't give him credit with this approach. Interesting video - just redo without leadout and give him an Insta 360 or something instead of using a crew ahead.

literally just did the "hell climb", although it didn't come up on strava like that. The segment is called BW - Dundry - Highridge Road. Just did my PR which was almost exactly twice Matt's time. East Dundry is insane. Super pinchy and rough. Main factor is the narrow road which is used by farm vehicles. Blagdon is by far the hardest of the three. Steep before the village, steep through the village, steep out of the village, and then drags for nearly a km at 8% before pitching up a tiny bit before the end. Not the hardest Mendips climb but definitely up there.

Hi Matt🙂. Every Factor road-bike made in last 2 years precautionarily cautions the rider against sitting on the top tube. High quality carbon is very thin and sensitive to crushing at that point.
