@@acz88 Not true, in my opinion. I've lived in Taiwan for four decades where all major political parties are socialist. Right on not communism, but culturally Chinese are prone towards socialism, which is anathema to conservatism. Safety in accepted norms, don't rock the boat, etc.. Kudos to you for breaking the mold though. If you disagree for those in the USA, just consider where the largest Chinese/American communites are and how those districts go. I do not know of any who vote conservative. I could be wrong though. My wife will tell you it's not the first time. :)

When she talks about 'democracy', does the government decides if they should go to numerous wars all over the world, or is it the voters/citizens who should decide what is best for America? "Isolationism" (or really, neo isolationism) is not about withdrawing from the world, cutting off trade and etc. Instead, it is a recognition that it is not in America's interests to give blanket protection, at no cost, to our economic competitors. For instance, Chairman Xi is in Serbia, where Serbs are bitter that President Clinton bombed them, and accidentally bombed China's Embassy in Belgrade. We were bombing them to stop Serbian slaughter of Kosovars.... something the EU should have done, but they choose to have a first class social safety net instead of defense. The attitude of European elites is "it's your responsibility to defend us, and our responsibility to criticize you". And nearly thirty years later, Serbs are bitter at the US, while hoping to gain entry into the EU. So... why was that in America's interests? It's not. Same can be said for Ukraine and Israel. We assume its our responsibility to resolve their problems.... but why? Biden is running on autopilot.... or maybe his administration is run by committee...or... we'll find out in the history books in a few years. This girl does not impress me at all.
