I don't mind Prime versions for known historic generals whose original version was lackluster. Washington was a really good general, and he deserved a glow-up. Napoleon definitely deserved a revamp. What about Alexander the Great? Genghis Khan? New versions of these generals that don't suck would be nice.

Hi Craenor - A revamp yes but not new generals. Evony should just update those Generals stats like they did with most of the generals appearance. Johnston is still my fav even though his name and looks have changed. they can change the stats just as easy..

@@VictorAlvarez-it1el Sure, but this all started with Napoleon Prime, and they had to do something different and big because of the film sponsorship. So we got Napoleon Prime. Now, having established the "Prime" concept, they could let that be a one-off, or they could use that as the framework to revisit famous generals whose original stats were disappointing. I think continuing the "Prime" series just makes sense.

I would also like to include that Andre Massena cannot use the mounted attack skill book. I can't blame Aka for not knowing this, as he stated he does not have Andre Massena. The fact that Washington Prime CAN take mounted attack paired with having more march size and comparable stats to Andre....I'd say that's a big enough deal to change from Andre Massena to Washington Prime as your assistant **this is for people using Napoleon prime as the main mounted general WITH ANDRE MASSENA AS THE ASSISTANT**

Pretty sure max march size with skill book is 38% excluding ascending so he can be used as an assistant. 15% main skill, 6% specialty, 5% covenant and 12% skill book = 38%

Realize that it is a percentage of your base march size, which is less than many people think. A k40 has a base march size of 550k, 26% of that is 143k troops, subtract the average of 10% (because the other generals have that too) and the "advantage" is 16% which is just 88k troops. In other words, don't focus only on march size and go for HP when it comes to cavalry. Just my 2 cents.

I recommended to my alliance to consider Washington Prime for their cavalry assistant. You can get almost all his good stuff without ascending which makes him a great assistant. I have been using Custer for a year because his march size always delivered more damage to the world boss and alliance boss. When I subbed in Washington to test, I got a REAL 10% improvement in total damage done. Win

In terms of who gets primed, it will be a general who’s connected to a major holiday. Evony uses the holiday events to promote their prime generals. In Napo’s case it was the Napoleon movie. So if there’s another major motion picture production that focus on an evony general, that’s probably your prime general. Or, maybe a Chinese general for Chinese new year. Something like that. Maybe William Wallace.

If you are talking about the full set bonus of 30% march size increase all those set bonus for owning the full set of gear is universal buffs ie that set will increase your +number in the rally spot based off what the base amount of your rally spot level the freedom set was a mismash set that tries to boost a bit of everything while 1 or 2 pieces might help mounted it is a great set to own it get the set bonus but it is not a set to put on your main general mabye a second or third monster killing general

Serious comment: Washington' (notice the mathematical notation) is better than Massena because Massena can't use an atk book. 20% atk and 55% HP is way better than 10% def (also, 3% more march size)

The main problem with napoleon now is it’s IMPOSSIBLE to get him even in package. He is missing everywhere. I sent a ticket because I thought they forget him but they confirm it’s no more possible now. So if you have napoleon prime under and you are looking to ascend him, you loose.

@@christieharris5872 Spirit Beast and Generals that are associated with a movie or other promotion outside of Evony are limited. Once the promo is over, there is no option to get them. Examples..... Hi aka i'm so confused and i need your help in this I'm a f2p, so I have Roland as my main Cav general and i've Massena, maria theresa and Washinton Prime I want to use roland for both pvp and monsters, But i don't know who to chose as an assistant for him .. i'm thinking of having one assitant for monster(Maria) and one for pvp (massena or washinton prime) So who do you recommend in that case? The other thing is the skillbooks setup I use cav attk , attk against monster and luck on Roland. But therefore massena will not pair with him becuase of the atk skillbook, and 2 of the 3 books won't help in pvp. so what are the skill books setup that i need to work on for all 3 of them (roland and the 2 assistans) to get the best results in both pvp and pve?

As assistant, yes he’s better than Andre. Also, He could be used to reinforce, and so far there are no other good options for mounted reinforcements. The problem isn’t that they’re priming bad generals. It’s that they nerfed all of the covenants since Napoleon came out. Literally nobody comes close to Napo’s covenant. So, when you use Napo with Washington, you receive 8% more march size, and lose 10% attack, as opposed to using Napo with Andre Messina (and do Washington’s covenant to the fourth covenant).

Roland is very solid. He's in the tavern and in relics, so he's easily ascendable.

If you can do Hecate's challenge, you can get Maria Theresa who, unlike Aethelflaed, can take both the mounted attack book and the mounted attack vs. monsters book. Of course, Hecate's challenge is so hard you need a freaking good monster hunter general to begin with. LOL.

I think it's pretty much the same whether you use Lv1 or Lv4 books. Lv 1 is cheaper and easier to use 😇

It's really not that bad. All three are tavern generals. You may not already have them, but you can easily get them. I only just today got the Gaius Octavius for my Agrippa covenant. It took me about a half hour and 100,000 diamonds to max out Washington Prime's covenant.

You need to save 85 general scrolls, wait until there is a general you need and want, wait to confirm they are really good take all skill books and match up with the right assistants, then open scrolls until you get 16 copies. Otherwise don't open general scrolls. If you spend a a few packs that come with general scrolls here and there you can open between 1 and 6 scrolls per event to get one copy of each new general for future covenants, future assistants, or general hall.
