I was 13 years old back in 1967 and today I am a 69-year-old senior citizen. Enjoying this blast from my past with this adorable reaction husband and wife couple. My goodness how fortunate we baby boom generations were to have grown up in the greatest decade of Rock & Roll history the 60's. Great reaction to one of the greatest groups ever. Please react to their greatest hit "Cherish." (1966)

I was 10 years old in 67. I remember the 1st time I heard this song it was summer and I was at my buddies house. His mother made us sand and refinish furniture outside. My buddy had his transistor radio on to cklw and this song came on. I thought I was in heaven. It was unbelievable. I couldnt believe how incredible cool that song was. The association had some great hits. Those were the days.

Windy was released July 1967. The oldest band member, lead singer, song writer & musician was Terry Kirkman, born in 1939. He played guitar & recorder exceptionally & is 83 today. They were absolutely fantastic! May I suggest reacting to their, "Everything That Touches You" c1968

It's absolutely just "happy" music, that just makes you appreciate the simplicity of the lyrics while the music is just lighter than air while fascinating people just appreciating the life we're given. My biggest memories of this particular song are from when i was a young boy and learning to simply love great music.

Came out in 1969 by Zager and Evans 'In The Year 2525' was a single I bought at age 14 that we used to dance to. We had so much music that kept us busy we didn't think about the warning of its lyrics. We were ignorant children LOL. I liked the beat and I give it a 90 hehehe! Wink. I hear it now and I still love hearing it though now I get the meaning of the warning through it's chilling lyrics. It was a big hit in its day. Film clips are from Fritz Lang's silent epic 'Metropolis' released in 1927. It is beautifully restored to its 1927 theatrical release and out on Blue-Ray disc featuring its amazing original orchestral scoring. Set in 2027 The film is a warning about middle class disintegration and rule by the upper classes to oppress the poor to work the great machines that run the Metropolis. The scientist ruler's son discovers how his dad has been ruling all with an iron fist and decides to find the why of this persecution of the poor. The girl of a poor worker enlists his aid to help her people who are kept in an underground city where they work to total exhaustion. There are many special effects that have be borrowed from later films such as 1982's 'Blade Runner.' There are many hair raising adventures and horrors with the famous last minute rescues. 'Metropolis' ranks up there with some of the greatest films of the Twentieth Century!

I remember being a little confused about her name being Windy and asking my mom about it. I don't recall her answer, but I remember thinking it was like calling her Wendy, lol. The Association turned out some great songs '66 through '68. They broke up in 1972, but the same original members reunited on 1979/1980 for several years. Research The Association HBO Special, where they performed 3 of the songs you've reviewed, but may be even better than the mid-60's versions! Some original members continued on with different players over the years and even in 2023, two original members are still occasionally performing
