The most important thing to remember is that the reason you broke up was because you're both not getting what you need from each other. Why stress over someone who wasn't meeting your needs? Start looking for someone who can and will. Being jealous and stressing over an ex is like missing an old car that stopped running. It doesn't matter how much good times you had with that car because it no longer runs. You need a new car in order to get to work.

Same here mannn. I had this special person, when she cut all communication with me (its because of my fault not giving her commitment before) she was with someone else whom she gave everything to that guy which later i found out ghosted her. When we started talking i still couldn’t give her commitment because of what happened with her and that fruitcake, which was disappointing to me. However when i was ready to give it all, she rejected me and I tried so hard to get her back. Its been months of no contact and she has blocked me everywhere. Oh well life as we know😆if she has someone else now, i am 💯 sure i am so better in my mind i know. I wish her well.

I used to be the one who would look for novelty and attention. Then I met a guy, and I took it very slow-he was supposed to be just a friend to hang out with. But with all the time we spent together, and all the effort and devotion on his side, I don’t even know when I developed strong emotions for him. We were great together, sharing the same hobbies, passions, and beliefs. It lasted for 5 years until I had to break up with him because he started seeking novelty online, texting and seeing other girls behind my back... But, I basically wanted to say that some people do change or just get older and their need for novelty ends....

Nope, “better than you” is not possible unless YOU were an asshole, an abuser, and/or a narcissist. You have NO competition. YOU gave them something NO ONE else ever could, and no matter how “amazed” they are by their new (and likely very temporary) focus, they will ALWAYS be looking for YOU in the new fixation. You’ve set a bar so high that NO ONE can match, no matter how many “boxes they may tic” for your ex. YOU are the prize, and remember that THEY showed their fucked up and low and foul character by cheating, monkeybranching, and/or rebounding. They are no longer worth your love, time, and energy, especially if you gave it all purely and selflessly. Show your OWN qualities, value, worth, and dignity by giving them your back. They WILL regret what they did, especially when the new toy’s novelty wears off. And, believe in it or not as the more metaphysical concept (and if you don’t, call it ‘cause and effect’ - Nature abhors a vacuum, and water will ALWAYS find its level), Karma is a real thing. None of us can get away with hurting someone else for long - especially if it’s done intentionally or through carelessness and/or thoughtlessness. No one gets off Scot free… And, remember this: the new thing is already doomed! Not only is your ex taking their bullshit and messed up character into this thing, but the new “partner” KNOWS how and why your ex came in…that will sit with the new person, making them jealous, and waiting for when your ex pulls the same shit with THEM! They’ll be waiting for the other shoe to drop and be on edge constantly. Let the less fortunate have your used and tarnished CRAP - you don’t need it anymore.

She is his long distance situationship from three years ago. He said he didn't like her looks and behaviour, also his family didn't like her (very important to him). She was still around and told him she would do anything for him. He breaks up with me and tells me he is gonna marry her, although he has deep feelings for me and not for her, because she is more convenient. Now he reached out, wanted to meet, but together with other people. Even his sister reached out and invited me. The other girl first posted happy pictures, when he visited her, indicating he will propose to her the next time they meet. Now she posted something sad, about how she doesn't want to suffer. But they will meet again in three weeks. I don't know what to make of it.

She monkey branched on a guy who had money, a cool car, and who could offer her stability, while I was still working hard to secure a good job. I would have made it eventually. It's sad. She will never get the love, care, emotional intimacy - that I gave her, from him who has a repuatation of being a player.

Dude, I was the guy with a good job, two coveted sports cars, and stability and she still blindsided me and discarded me after telling me she wanted to marry and loved me so much it ached. Back in June I run into her in my gym that I tried to bring her with me to. Turns out she’s dating some guy that is not fit, average looking, and I doubt has a career yet. Now, I wasn’t a bad bf. I was great and she even cried in my arms after telling me she wanted to break up and said I was a good man and she loved me so much. She even told me the next day that I was the most compassionate person she had ever met. She mainly broke up with me because she didn’t want to introduce me to her family (I am much older than her and I have a kid) and she tried to blame me for her anxiety. She suffered serious anxiety.

I never compared myself to my replacement. I am secure. My mental and emotional health are good. I am mentally tough. I have many good qualities, not bragging, just facts. Not to put anyone down since I don't even know my replacement, but from my ex's description, she is a victim of narcissistic abuse who is still grieving her deceased spouse. My ex was manipulated by her family. He is such a people pleaser who can't say no. I guess he wanted to "save" her. It's really weird from what he told me when leaving. (I can't make this craziness up). Oh, he wanted to be friends with me. Hell no. I let him go without tears or drama. I am happier now without him. Forever free of that toxicity. My year of hours each day of inner work has paid off. Revisiting your videos to review "red flags". Excellent description of monkey branching.💕🙏

Oh man, you are on point 100 percent. I am a professional and highly educated man who works a lot. She monkey branches to somebody who is hardly working and he has a lot of time to supply. And he is not better by any means, lol. I told her he is not even half the man that I am 😂😂😂She was able to do this after 13 years of being together. Thanks goodness we don't have any kids, and I am doing a lot better. It's only been 20 days, but I am in a much better place.

So true what you said. My ex monkey branched and everything she said was wrong in our relationship is also wrong in her new relationship times 100. I did not understand why she pictured me as a narc. But the new guy mirrored his bad treats on me to trick her into cheating on me. Now she is scared of him because he threatened her with her life if she would do it to him. She is not allowed to do anything and even ignores her old friends, family and even our kids.

My husband’s girlfriend definitely knew he was married with kids. Our family pics are in his instagram. Obviously she didn’t care. We separated a year ago and he’s still with her and yes we are still married. She’s 15 years younger than me with no kids so I’m pretty sure he’s happy with her. This is so true avoidant phantom ex always is someone who is toxic emotionally unavailable and can be abusive as well. Bc avoidants are familiar with toxicity not kind loving partner. Also avoidant always have long term relationships with toxic narcissistic partner than healthy one bc there is no emotional intimacy involved only sexual. Caught my FA cheating on me with an old fat married guy 20 years older than her. Made me disgusted about her and felt something really wrong with girl. I am a guy who is close to her age, athletic, medical professional and a secure person. If she could have been vulnerable me, most definitely I would help her trauma and childhood wounds. Unfortunately, she lost very good person for a toxic married guy getting into triangle relationship.
