Wow. Just wow. This message of yours comes at just the right time in my life. I have just turned 53 years old and this is exactly how my life has been until just a year ago when I decided it was enough and I felt that I needed change and do something with my life. From then on I started writing about mental health. I started working out as well and doing research on healthy life styles. It really does feel like an awakening. But it is never too late. Too late is when it is the end of your life. Greetings from the Netherlands.

My sister did the DNA thing. Something very interesting came up. Always knew we were Scottish on Dads side, but we're also Norwegian which shocked me a bit. I think you may be right about your ancestry being in our DNA, because Norway is the Scandinavian country I have ever been interested in. Love your talks. Thank you.

Will need to review this video over & over to restore my ' death ' in the ICE I surrounded myself with years ago. Decades ago ' my rune ' which came to me was similar to a lighten bolt with jagged edges. I believe it meant ' power or strength ' from Above to give me the ability to move forward ( which I did ). Lost it. Thank you for showing me ICE.

Excellent video, Bjørn! I see Isa representing spiritual standstill. It may be necessary for temporary self-control/self-preservation or to grieve the loss of a loved one, but it is not a way of life. Isa should be a stopping point to look around, get your thoughts or life straightened out and then move forward into "the spring" of your new self. Thank you so much for this thoughtful expression - more Norse runes and symbolism would be great! Takk !! 🥰

The moment you'll go into the ice cold sea or lake or river in a ice landscape and let yourself go is the moment what sets you free... Isa was brought to me and im so thankfull for that moment of intension to just follow the feeling to go into the cold water. Everything what happens arround us and with us happens very quickly. To quickly. And sometimes we need a break from it. Yes Isa is the very moment what stops all of it rapidly. Every thought every feeling is set on hold the positiv but also the negativ it all stops. But in this very moment in that ice water you are all by yourself all within yourself and you can feel nothing but yourself sorrounded by the icecold hug of Isa what helps you to free your mind in that moment and makes you come back so much more stronger than you were at the moment you took that step into the ice water. Isa is probably one of the most scarriest but yet one of the strongest runes what can be on your side in life and even if its seen as a negativ rune it can give you the most positiv out of it if you open your heart for what its trying to teach you. I'll allways return to that very moment when i need to and visit Isa and enjoy that moment within. I love the rune series bjorn looking forward to see more about it.

I am only 32 and I feel I have woken up compared to peers of mine. I see adult man children everywhere I go. Stupid lifestyles built around meaningless hobbies that either destroy our planet or provide no benefit to their own community. Thanks Bjorn.

I'm 25 and yes we are definitely lost. I've had severe autoimmune issues which doesn't help but I'd say not having a male figure who I respect and trust for guidance did the most damage. That along with this agenda to feminise men through culture and chemicals. If you told somebody I was 16 they'd probably believe you, I feel cheated out of my genetic birthright in becoming the man I should have become.

I love the lessons Isa brings. Nature has another intention for winter, and often ice - to force Life into taking a break, not overworking the land, not overworking ourselves to the point of burning out. There is a reason ancient cultures understood that every 7 days, you should rest, and every 7 years the winters are longer so the land would heal, and every 7x7 years (as Native Americans used to tell it; aka 49 years) the winters were the harshest to reset the soil (so to speak). For humans, you're absolutely right: we are not meant to BE stagnant like ice. We were meant to constantly change as we we grow older. We are wiser at 30 than we are at 10, therefore we should not continue doing things as we did as a child and can work harder, and we are even wiser at 60 than 30, so we should change our ways again and start to work smarter, and again wiser at 80 than 60 when we should change again to help welcome in the newer generations. If humans aren't meant to hibernate like wild animals do, we should not extend - or test - further stagnation.

Great to see the landscape and hear Bjorn's thoughtfulness and his discourses on contemporary life but always with sense of the numinous.

I've discovered recently that i have lot of norse, viking, germanic, etc. heritage, several names of kings of Denmark. So I'm quite excited to be revisiting the runes with you since i last researched them independently.

Thank you Bjorn. Change is never completely comfortable. Even positive change. A full hand can't grasp something better. There are so many profound things you share, things you confirm for me,fill in knowledge about, give me a feast of thoughts or chime in righteously about what is on my table. I deeply appreciate you and your efforts. At the end of a tough weekend it's a treat to enjoy an enlightening video from you.Thank you! 🦉♥️🌲🕊️🌻

wow - weirdly synchronistic! I have had my runes for a couple of decades, and love them. But I hadn't touched them in quite a few years. The other day, I dug them out (and started making a new set too) Then today I find your video on runes. Considering how the runes work, probabably not weird at all :)) Can't wait to hear you talk about them - hope you do a complete series. thank you!
