If you guys remember, in the training centre Foxface was doing something on a computer and was super amazing and fast at it, she was actually identifying poisonous plants and berries so she would have definitely come across nightlock as it was pretty common, so that sort of hints towards her committing suicide.

the casting was freaking brilliant. I applaud this woman for having the BALLS to cast brand new actors in such a film that was obviously going to be huge. And how well they performed!! I LOVED Thresh, loved Rue, Marvel was a great asshole, ...I am stunned those cheap bastards only paid Katniss a half a mil which I bet she didnt walk away with any more than about 40 grand of...but she has made up for it since...Regardless of their probably casting these new actors to save MONEY, these guys DELIVERED and they deserve LOTS MORE in their next roles. And NO i dont know any of them, I am in the music business in Nashville. So rock on cast of HG

I love Rue. Amanda did an amazing job. I love Prim too but I feel closer to Rue because we're both black. Don't get me wrong, I not racist nor am I trying to be. It's just rare I see characters like Rue in the movies I love. I saw a video talking about the how the movie sucked just because Rue was black. Some people who read the book thought she was white and was mad when they saw that she wasn't. So basically My feelings are hurt right now because I just saw how racist people can be. Reply your thoughts please, I wanna see what you think of this

I really love how in the film when Rue is killed, before she falls, she pulls the weapon out of her- it really shows her braveness and courage. It didn't happen like this in the book, but I like that they did it. :)

You don't have to be from the US to get these roles :D Think of the guy who played Finnick Odair, he is british! I am learning to act in college, and there are many British actresses or actors that can play American roles, it just depends if you can speak the accent :)

I performed on the stage where they filmed ceaser interviews. I was so excited and amazed when they told us that they filmed part if the movie there... I was performing at the knights theatre in Charlotte nc for my schools performance of shrek th musical jr.

I've watched the hunger games over and over again and did the same with the books so I noticed in the movie at the tributes parade, Levin's/Glimmer's cardigan falls off then in the next shot it's on like nothing happened :o and if you couldn't tell my favourite character is Clove :P

You forget that Katniss and her family don't have as much trouble with hunger like many other people in Panem do because she's such a good shot -- whenever she goes hunting with Gale, she often sells or trades some of what she kills to other people in her District. That's probably why they decided that whomever they cast didn't need to be really skinny -- just fit.

I think everyone was well cast in this film. I read that Emily Browning was considered for the role of Katniss - I'm so glad that Jennifer accepted it, but if she hadn't, I think Emily would've done a good job as well.
