While in Iraq in 2006, I visited Ur. There is pieces of pottery scattered about like gravel. On one piece I picked up, I could see the fingerprints of the potter where he slid his finger across the wet clay and lifted it up. It was absolutely marvelous to see such a personal detail from so many thousands of years ago. History is so fascinating! Fantastic video!

Ummer Farooq interesting. Beats reading some of the other Hadith, about his child bride and his other weird sexual nature. After i read the Quran i didn’t understand why so many had a negative view of Muhammad . Then i was told to pick up a select few Hadiths, that are considered , the “Trusted” Hadiths, and there is where I saw the true Muhammad. I pray on your journey with God, you find nothing but truth. James Neil Hogg I’m familiar with that ‘Goliath” and I can relate. We’re being taught to depend on Him not the congregation or the one behind our pulpit. He works through individual connections, not in the masses. Pastor ship has gone by the way of vanity and false light reflecting the light of their congregations and having darkness within. The church never closes for those who are the church. Gathering together in crowds gives a false sense of security and separates us from Him. there are 12 tribes, 12 disciples. 12X12=144k different personality types, This may be a reach of faith or hope but I’m depending on the fact that God made everyone different for a reason. There are many roles in The Kingdom of Heaven, we each have our own gifts and burdens.

There was a flood and the water was up to the door step of a guys home. Rescuers knocked at his door. "No thanks, God will save me." Next day the water was running in the windows when rescuers arrived with a boat. "No thanks, God will save me." Next day the guy is on the roof and the water is still rising. A helicopter came and let down a rope ladder. The guy says again "No thanks, God will save me". He drowned and when he went before God he was all upset and said "I can't believe you failed me and let me drown. I've been so faithful and true, but you let me drown." God replies, "I sent 3 rescues to you and you rejected them because you assumed a divine act only if it fit your understanding. You drown because you couldn't face what was before you. Just fyi: It was Ron Wyatt (with God's help) who found the "Real Tower of Babel" and it was not at Babylon ...and seems to have all the archeological evidence more than any other site, and matches the Biblical descriptions perfectly... 😊 King Nebuchadnezzar had his own seal/stamp that is on all the bricks at Babylon... NONE are Nimrod's mark/sign.... 🙏🙏🙏 Ron Wyatt, by reading the Bible, saw that it says that after the flood, the people came from where NOAH'S ARK had rested in the mountain(s) [plural] of Ararat [Urartu]. [Now called Turkey, where Ron Wyatt found the Real Noah's Ark, on what the people called "Doomsday Mountain", with massive evidence; *13 ft Anchor Stones with 8 crosses carved into them, *Noah's House, and Altar, *Graves/Gravestones of. Noah and Wife, and more all by the "City of Eight"... Also after 10 years of research and archaeological testing, Turkey declared it was the "Real Noah's Ark"! And which you can now go and see !!!] 😊 🙏🙏🙏 Ron Wyatt read that... The Bible says: they came FROM THE EAST".... [that means they would be "TRAVELING WEST" along the Euphrates River in order to water their flocks] Ron Wyatt found the Real Tower of Babel by tracing their route according to the Bible; and found the real site where the Euphrates River kind of semicircles a huge plain.... 🙏🙏🙏 Earlier, by Noah's House; Ron Wyatt had seen a small carving of the Tower of Babel as well as Nimrod's "mark or sign" on one of the Anchor Stones by Noah's House; Nimrod had carved, 3 UPSIDE DOWN "ANKHS," in the stone, (Nimrod tried to make the people believe that HE was responsible for saving the people, not Noah and God).😟 [when Nimrod died, the "bottom diamond shape of the Ankh was moved up to the top to show he was "supposedly" now a god in heaven",] [which later the Egyptians used and passed on to others]😟 🙏🙏🙏 At the Real Tower of Babel Site that Ron Wyatt found... Nimrod's sign/mark WAS ON ALL THE BRICKS, and which were "made out of slime(tar) and mortar(clay)" just as the Bible describes... !!!😊 ... Ron was able to get up close pictures from land and also one from the air... !!! Also, when he got home, they were looking up geological evidence in a book on that area which had a MINERAL RADAR SCAN FROM THE SHUTTLE of that part of Turkey!!! It shows A CLEAR IMAGE of THE REAL TOWER OF BABEL with the radar penetration going right thru to the CIRCULAR RAMPS AND EVERYTHING.... !!! 😊 🙏🙏🙏 [Please see KZbin video called "RON WYATT AUGUST 1996" (zinedinez105)(1:34:26)] (It's a home video so the middle partt has a few glitches but if u get past that it's fine again) 🙏🙏🙏 I believe this was one of his last finds before he passed away in 1999.... after God had graced him with finding SO MANY real sites of Biblical History, which showed the truth of the accuracy of the Bible in everything, and which God had kept hidden until His appointed time; to reveal them thru Ron Wyatt, who was a true, humble, man of God.🙏🙏🙏

It is an interesting sociological phenomena that to this day in centers of high population density you get more worldliness and higher concentrations of crime, paganism, diversity in perversions of thought etc. Generally speaking, it is the sub-urban or more rural areas that tend to be more level headed and occupied with people who have a higher level of reverence for God. The rural "Flyover country" that politicians would ignore, if not for America's brilliant Electoral College, would be an example.

8:32 Nimrod and his mother/wife Semiramis created a set of beliefs that started at Babel. Among them was human arrogance and superiority to God. The Tower's chief purpose was to give people who gathered under Nimrod's rule a collective sense of empowerment to directly oppose God's command to spread out and fill the earth. It is akin to the expression, "strength in numbers." The people thought the Tower would serve as protection from another global flood, which was fresh in mind for many of them because humans lived considerably longer at the time, and they would have heard the story from their parents or grandparents. Nimrod, for example, likely heard the story from his great grandfather Noah directly (thanks, redemptous). When the people spread out from Eridu, they would have taken their knowledge and experience of construction with them, which is why you find pyramid-like structures throughout the planet like traditional pyramids and ziggurats. They were all inspired by the Eridu's cultural knowledge of Tower design. Further, the beliefs that formed the Babel religious doctrines included such false teachings as the immortality of the human soul, a place of eternal punishment, mother-child worship, and the worship of triune gods (to name a few). When the people spread from Eridu, they would have taken their stories and Babel religion with them. It explains how numerous cultures throughout the earth share the tale of a global Flood and why so many worldwide religions share similar doctrines. In Revelation, the term "Babylon the Great" is used as a fitting symbol to describe the worldwide empire of false religion, because ALL originate from Ancient Babel (Babylon).

@@robertwatson818 In a way, I wrote that. "The people thought the Tower would serve as protection from another global flood," naturally, had they completed the tower, they would have had to build it very tall. So it is reasonable to conclude the base was enormous, as you point out. However, to pull off an engineering feat of this magnitude, they would need to come together in a collective sense of empowerment to oppose God's command directly.

The Levant is an approximate historical geographical term referring to a large area in the ... Both the noun Levant and the adjective Levantine are now commonly used to describe the ancient and modern culture area formerly called ... People also ask What is considered the Levant? The Levant is a term in geography that refers to an area in the Middle East which includes the historic areas of Lebanon, Palestine, Israel and Syria. ... The word "Levant" entered the English language in the 16th century, together with the first English merchant adventurers in the region. Why is the Levant important? The Levant was the landbridge between the Southern empire of Egypt and the northern Mesopotamia. ... It was important to control the Levant for easier passage and trade between these two empires. It also was important to control it for sea trade on the Mediterranean. Why is it called the Levant? The name Levant States was used to refer to the French mandate over Syria and Lebanon after World War I. This is probably the reason why the term Levant has come to be used more specifically Which country is Levant? The countries which comprise the Levant are characterized by similar linguistic, cultural, and religious traits. These countries and regions are Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Cyprus, Turkey (Hatay Province), Israel, Jordan, and Palestine. A broader definition of the Levant roughly refers to the territory from Greece to Egypt What does Isil mean? Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant As al-Shām is a region often compared with the Levant or Greater Syria, the group's name has been variously translated as "Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham", "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (both abbreviated as ISIS), or "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (abbreviated as ISIL). While your leading question sounds simple and potent, it demonstrates a deep lack of knowledge of all of the issues involved. The city that you want to make the Babel of Genesis 11 actually was NOT an occupied site at the time of the Tower of Babel. Moreover, there were about 7 Babels in and around ancient Mesopotamia. Do not be so naïve as to demand that the one you know of as the Babel of Nebuchadnezzar's day is by necessity the same Babel of the time of the ToB dispersion. Sir, you know not what you say, to be frank and honest.

How do you explain the Indus Valley civilization and Chinese civilizations that were both existing prior to the Sumerians development of Eridu?
@IsGenesisHistory Жыл бұрын
Greetings @unrealuknow864, Dr. Douglas Petrovich argues that the dispersion from the Tower of Babel was a localized occurence that happened after Noah's descendants spread out all over the world. @@IsGenesisHistory That is immaterial. Civilizations in Egypt Mesopotamia, India, China and SA all predate the date that Biblical scholars subscribe to the Great Flood of Noah. There was no Flood..No evidence of it at all.

@unrealuknow864 First, it's important to note that the Bible does not specify a precise date for the Flood, and there is considerable variation in estimates regarding the timing of the ancient civilizations you mentioned. Consequently, there's ongoing debate about where the Flood and these civilizations fit within the broader historical timeline. For instance, Dr. Petrovich places the Flood at approximately 3,300 BC. Even if we assume conventional dating for the civilizations you mentioned, it's worth noting that written records used to determine their existence extend back only around 3000 BC. For a more comprehensive exploration of this topic, you might find this article enlightening: isgenesishistory.com/a-brief-history-of-everything-according-to-genesis-introduction-timeline/ Secondly, it's interesting to observe that all the civilizations you mentioned are situated atop thick, extensive layers of marine sediment and marine fossils that blanket the continents. This observation appears to align with the kind of evidence one might expect to find from the global Flood event. Consequently, any civilizations located above these marine layers and fossils must have emerged after the Flood. Most ancient societies center at or around the middle east including Sumeria, Egypt, Babylon, Greece, Israel. Even China's writing systems expanded eastward. Most writing systems outside of Chinese are connected to Phoenician alphabet. Even Chinese logogryphic writing refers to Noah's ark. This means man more than likely began in the middle east, not Morrocco or Australia like evolutionists believe.

@Ray Petrovick It's interesting that several civilizations in Asia and the Americas (at least) that existed at the time of the alleged flood apparently didn't even notice a global flood that wiped out their entire society.

lnsflare1 but there’s fossils of sea creatures in the rocks of the Grand Canyon... they didn’t come from the Colorado river because that’s fresh water
@lnsflare14 жыл бұрын
@@selendriamuganogo7077That has nothing to do with my point of other civilizations being active before/during/after the people that Noah's flood allegedly took place without ever noticing it, because the Grand Canyon was formed over millions of years by the Colorado River slowly cutting through eons worth of rock layers that contain multiple entire distinct ecosystems in an area that used to be oceans millions of years ago, and not from a single flood event that took place over approximately 1 year.

@@lnsflare1 what evidence are you using to state that other cultures don't refer to an ancient flood? Many cultures and ancient civilizations do refer to one. Besides, how are you gonna do that when you are dead? Assuming that the flood account is true and that all current humans came from the descendants of Noah, wouldn't that mean that whoever existed in the Americas would be dead and that who eventually came to the Americas probably got there hundreds if not thousands of years later? Would they need to keep writing about a flood they experienced halfway around the world thousands of years ago? We only have these texts because the originals were found. I think sometimes we as humans just want to be critical about everything and just want to discredit stuff. However whether we accept or discredit them, doesn't change the fact if they happened or didn't happen.

My bets on the location is on Harran just below the real city of Ur now called Urfa and other names

In 1854 J E Taylor identified Tel Muqqayar in Southern Mesopotamia as Ur from a temple inscription to Ur-Nammu, but Abraham's ancestral homeland was in Armenia or Northern Syria. I wonder if an archeological error was accepted as fact.
