I give Isiah credit because he is right that Max needed to get the story right. It was Rodman that made the comments about Bird. Isiah just agreed with him. I just wish that Isiah would get the story right about the Celtics walking off the court. He keeps bringing up that story but negates to mention that the game was in Detroit and that some fans and photographers had rushed onto the court before the game ended which is why the Celtic players on the bench left the court. Kevin McHale actually shook hands or fist bumped several Piston players as he left the court. It wasn't the same as when the Pistons did it to the Bulls. He needs to be consistent about making sure that people get the story right.

I'm a big Larry Bird fan. He laid it all out on the court, sacrificed his body and trashed talked to his foes but they all seem to let it slide because Bird has never changed. He has always been honest about basketball being a black man's game. He stood up for Isiah at the press conference. He supported Magic when he went public with his HIV diagnosis. He called Barkley and supported him when Sir Charles got a DUI. He even hired Chuck Person when Larry was with the Pacers! He coached the Pacers for only 3 years, just as he said, even though he had outstanding results during that time. Not everyone loves Larry (Laimbeer and Dr. J come to mind) but the vast majority of his peers have great respect for him.

The pistons knew how to defend Jordan is to get physical with him doubled him make someone else beat them that’s how you do it mj little salty about that or else he would have more rings 🤷🏻♂️if it wasn’t for the pistons who weren’t even in there prime by than

The pistons took it too far on fouling mj. Hard foul is ok. But its different if you are trying to injure someone. Just look at the fouls they are commiting and those fouled players reaction.

The Pistons made it PERSONAL. They bullied the Bulls. They beat up Jordon. When the Bulls finally beat them, they responded with the ultimate disrespect. Walking off the court without acknowledging the Bulls. Since it was personal, Jordan has the right to hold the grudge for as long as he wasn’t. It is his prerogative.

Even though Rodman originally made the comment, Isiah agreed with his comment concerning Larry who had one 3 rings when he at the time did not win a ring yes it was hypocritical to get upset with Michael years later.

I still see Isiah is still hurt over not being on the The Dream Team, when the majority of the players selected are against you playing on the team that says a lot. People thought it was just Mike and Scottie, man Malone, Magic, Bird and the majority of the team didn't want him there. Chuck Daly didn't protest or try to select Isiah himself that speaks to the hatred that the Bad Boys created.

That really shows what type of snake Isaiah was, if Joe Dumars was on the team nobody would have protested.
@donnelladams3404 жыл бұрын
@@heywasgood1612 Isiah was the leader of that b.s. with Laimbeer and Mahorn. Chuck Daly could have selected Isiah and he chose not to select him why is that because he knew he would have a mutiny on his hands. Most of the players on the team HATED Isiah and I don't blame them.

Then the next question you get to is; because of the quality of teams in the 80s: is getting 3 rings out of the 80s east vs the 90s east that much harder. I think it was .

3:45 what were they going to ask Bird? If they had asked he would have torn into Bill Laimbeer and all of them.

Alllll the media coverage Jordan has received why has NOBODY BUT STEPHEN A. SMITH heard his call Isiah Thomas the 2nd greatest pg of all time doe Why hasn't he ever publicly came out and said this doe

If Jordan ended his grudge and rivalry with Bird and not with Isaiah, then Jordan has a double standard. Everyone else in the league back then bowed down to Jordan, Isaiah and the Pistons didn't which is probably why Jordan still hates Isaiah.
