You are wrong with that comment. How can he be a hater when the Pistons were kicking MJ's but for yrs.Give me a break sir. 50 greatest player of all time and the only thing missing is the dream team, so that alone speaks volumes for this man. Don't forget about his basketball i.q. He was an executive for the New York Knicks. Do I need to say more. He single handedly turned Detroit around with only 1 star on the team and that was another small player. JOE DUMARS SO LOOK HOW SMALL THAT BACK COURT WAS.

He’s not taking the high road, he saw an opportunity to kinda redeem himself and kinda downplay what he and the Pistons did back then. Even MJ is acknowledging the fact that if not for the Pistons and how it was for him to beat that team, he would not have worked that hard and eventually made him the great player that he became. But let’s not forget every other star’s opinion on how the Pistons were back then in terms of how physical they were and how they don’t care if they hurt you and take you out of the game for the rest of your life. Larry, Magic, and everybody else had something bad to say about how the Pistons were. Why do you think they were called the Bad Boys?

As a youth I had the honor and privilege to watch Zeke play at the Magic Johnson basketball camp...the double pump reverse dunks he did at camp and dribbling drills we're LEGEND! He never show cased his jumping ability in games but Zeke was so underrated and incredibly athletic. @@joshmcbench5332 Yet that 63 point game was on a lost and Bird was just complimenting his opponent but that doesnt mean its true. If LBJ had a 50 point triple dobule in a lost people will say he was just stat padding. I will admit in the 90s era MJ was the greatest player of that generation its a different ara now and we can always play the hypothesis game and say MJ would dominate but the reality is we dont have a way to answer that so its easy for MJ fans to just say he will jsut base on what he accomplished in his era. Wilt averaged 50 points and 20 rebounds in a season would he dominate in this era? GOAT is so subjective ryt now it depends on each person some value rings yet rings was a team accomplishemnt not a individual accolade, some people value stats yet some people wil lsay people in this era stat pad so in the end you have this endless debate. MJ to me when I grew up was the GOAT not because of the rings but because of his style of play and he was an unstoppable offensive force but in this era to me LBJ is GOAT because he is the greatest all around basketball with or without the rings its hard to ever duplicate another MJ or LBJ. As for Isiah He has never said anything bad about MJ he has moved the only time the story has gone back to him and MJ was because of the Piston and Bulls rivalry and MJ still has some bad sentiments with him.

I don't know what's the big deal here. The documentary portrayed them as one of the greatest team, the hardest competition of MJ's career which he had to eventually overcome. MJ even mentioned Isiah being his choice of 2nd greatest point guard of all time. They had the reputation of being the 'Bad Boy' and they embraced that reputation. Did he seriously expect MJ or the documentary to say that they were in fact nice guys or something? When talking about their competition, it was pretty obvious the 'no handshake' was going to get highlighted. MJ felt it was disrespectful and that's not something that changes just because it has been 30 years. He expressed what he felt, and that he still feels the same way and it's not something new.

While we're at it, why not show what other players in the league at the time were saying about them as well? That'd make them look real good. MJ didn't like them then and he doesn't like them now, and again, it's not something new that he feels that way. It's actually a compliment that they affected him so much. After the episode, Isiah is the one going this interview to that interview dissing MJ every chance he gets saying as if MJ wasn't even good in the 80s and that they beat Celtics and Lakers in their prime. No they didn't beat them in their prime. Celtics were already older than Pistons in 91 (which they keep saying they lost cause they got old). My point about my original comment is that they were portrayed as one of the best teams, hardest competition of MJ's career and MJ complimented Isiah by saying he's the 2nd greatest point guard. They were portrayed as playing dirty but that was how they were viewed back then (by everyone, not just MJ), and the documentary portrayed them exactly how they were portrayed. MJ hates Isiah Thomas for two reasons. Isiah Thomas Detroit Piston have no second thoughts to end the career of MJ by their hard fouls. Isiah Thomas Detroit Piston did not even have any intention to block the ball. They went to the head and the body of MJ. Second reason Isiah did not shake the hands of the Bulls in the 1991 Eastern Finals. That is UNSPORTMANSHIP.

Samuel Fernandez, stop whining. Miss me with the better team argument, because when it comes to Lebron, y’all don’t use the better team argument, you just count Lebron as a loser. Stop it! Thomas teams dominated Jordan teams, whether you like it or not. Those are facts.

There were so many fouls in the "Last Dance" that they didn't even show. Laimbeer threw Jordan to the ground while he was up in the air and the doc didn't show those real dirty ones. Also Pippen absolutely clotheslined Laimbeer in the 90' playoffs.

As usual, you guys killed it. What a fantastic interview. I hated Detroit growing up. The Celtics were always my team. Now I can look back in retrospect, and light dawns on Marblehead. Suddenly realize how good Detroit was back then, and how important they were to the league. They were the badass warriors who came into Boston Garden like they owned it, and in the process created edge of your seat suspense and some completely unexpected outcomes for our heroes. All I could think about while listening to Isiah speaking was what a gentleman, and what an ambassador for the game. He never waivered once during the entire interview, and, in my mind, he grew at least two feet in stature. Thanks for this.
