Pistons got screwed in 88 gm6 Hugh Evans called terrible foul on laimbeer for Kareem! Zeke had 43p 25 in the 3rd pistons lost that game on Kareems FT’s & then lost gm7 then went back to back 89-90! I think the way Detroit played just burned that fire under Michael that much more. I think they helped "create" him, in a sense. Not quite Dr. Frankenstein. But they showed him what he needed to overcome, even if it's a Laimbeer arm to the throat. The Jordan Rules imo also pointed out his weaknesses, which he hopefully overcame to slice through other teams like butter. And once you get past this rugby team, all others are a cakewalk.

Jordan didn't have a problem with their physical play. He (and many, many others) had a problem with certain players who did things that could end someone's career. Nonetheless, he STILL had enough respect to shake their hands after every single loss (three straight in the playoffs). Again, he NEVER had a problem with them being physical. He was physical, everyone back then was psychical. It was certain players (such as Lambier) that tried to end people careers.

The Last Dance is so good, we tend to forget the blonde lady in Episode 9 cursing like crazy attending a Pacers playoff home game against the Bulls. 🤣 Horace is just mad at MJ. Not really towards the doc.

Michael Jordan and Co got sent home by this man 3 years in a row. Some of the Bulls said some stuff about the Piston’s players that maybe went too far. The handshake was a reaction to that.

Refusing to shake hands with the Bulls was only part of it. MJ was also angered by how Thomas orchestrated the freeze on him during that all-star game when Jordan was a rookie. Thomas froze Jordan out in that all-star game, and Mike got his retribution by having Isiah barred from the Dream team. Sorry you have that "hole" in your resume, Zeke, but as the good book says, "You reap what you sow." That's all I can say.

Michael jordan although the greatest has always been a whinner. If its not for him, if it not about him he holds grudges like a baby. Back then people played that way. He should of never said Pistons didnt deserve the title. He cried about the knicks fouls all the time. The only reason he didnt hold grudges against them is cause he won
