isinwheel S9 Max - Afternoon ride + new battery, top speed, suspension.

I had the same problem. 17mph max speed on a straight road, 8mph uphill and 20mph on a steep downhill. I then emailed them, explained everything and they sent me a new controller. Changed the controller and problem fixed. Now going 19-20mph on a straight road, about 12-14mph uphill and 22mph downhill. (Mainly depending on the battery level.) When I opened the deck to change the controller I found out that the controller inside the scooter was 17amps. And the one that they sent me is a 19amps one. I don't know why I had a weaker controller in the first place but happy I solved it.

What is the controller? The handle bars or something inside the bike? And did you get it for free by them?

@@coldwarcow58 Yes, over all it is a nice little scooter. I like it. But I don't think they come with the new controller, you could contact them and ask to change it for you before buying.

It’s 5.5” wide and 23.5” total deck length and 17” from the center support tube to the front of the rear fender. I wear a size 14 wide shoe and it’s comfortable to me.

And yes the tire is a true 9”. I have the s9max with the solid honey comb tire that doesn’t require air and it’s a very comfortable ride. I do weigh 290lbs and it will only go about 12mph with me on it. But with my 80lb son it will run 18mph

@@BrandonDoner Thank you Brandon, I got my s9max last week so far Im enjoying it. I just wish if the tyres werent so thin. I had to sell my NineBot D18E because the range was horrible. For now I managed to to run 16 miles in a full charge.

That speed is a problem in every video. Someone needs to hit it with a tach gun on a bench and do the math. I bet it's rider weight. Kids would get the 21. You can break an arm at 6 on a curb landing, so. I want the battery power for constant starts and complete stops. In my hood you can't just get out and la la la ride. You'll get hit day one. Defence, baby.
