If Yassir is done with Islam, I believe he still keep preaching it, if he apostatize, he lose family members, status, money, career, respect and he is in danger of be killed by radicals for apostasy and bringing shame to the ummah... He said: Death penalty. 😂 2: What is the punishment for questioning the character of prophet Mohammad? He said: Death penalty.😂😂 3: What is the punishment of adultery in Islam? He said: Death penalty.😂😂 4: What is the punishment of claiming to be prophet? He said: Death penalty.😂😂 5: What is the punishment of criticizing Islam? He said Death penality.😂😂😂 Finally i decided to say bye bye to so called religion of peace. If this is what islam call peace. I don't want to be peaceful anymore. 😀

Islam is not just a religion of peace but of submission. I'm from Indonesia, Christians criticize Islam a lot especially the prophet but they are still in one piece. And we have one here literally created another Christian sect and claim to be Son of God but he still alive and well. And a friend of mine in university is well proclaimed ex Muslim, we are in our 4th year in university he didnt die yet (i mean got into the death row).

@@Adi_SH_007 No one will know true peace until shariah is established in the entire world, and it will happen when Isa/Jesus pbuh comes back. We may have tolerance, we may have understanding, we may live together, but it will only be temporary peace because some people will be selfish and will do things just for their own benefit , no true peace will come until the coming of Isa pbuh since he will be establishing shariah to everyone. How it will happen? i think by that time, only Muslims and some true Jews and true Christians which are muslims themselves, will be left after the death of the Dajjal.

Excellent & engaging commentary. It is a fact that Islam in the past was spread mainly by conquest and Yasir Qadhi in other videos makes no apologies for that fact. btw that's not to say people were literally forced to convert at the point of a sword - because they were not but the political and social reality made conversion inevitable for most. It's true that in some cases Muslim armies gave the rulers an ultimatum to either accept Islam, pay Jizya or fight. If they opted to fight and were defeated the Muslims would rule the land and would take Jizya from the conquered people. However they wouldn't force the conquered people to convert. It was not in their interest to do that. But when the ruler had converted or Islam gained political authority that meant most people would follow suit eventually. Over time most of the population began to convert due to social pressure and so they wouldn't have to keep paying the Jizya and could benefit from higher social status. In fact there were a few cases of Muslim rulers who actually discouraged conversion as it was reducing their tax revenue. But the result was inevitable and only a matter of time that most people would convert due to social and political pressure. Today they talk about Islam growing but that is largely due to birth - and as Yasir Qadhi says in that full video converts are a minority and many of them convert due to emotional and social reasons such as marriage which he correctly identifies as the number one source of converts.

It is a cliche that "islam spread by the sword". A half -truth at best. There are very appealing aspects in Islam with its ideas of monotheism "oneness ' and "equality" for people "burdened" by dominance of class and caste discrimination and the power held by the priestly class. And that were reasons enough for many to convert. I am myself a descendant of muslim traders who married local women and settled here in India, adopting many of the local customs. So like other cross-cultural interactions it is complex and cannot be reduced to simple cliches.

@Markus Tanbeck I believe he wants to normalize the concept that Islam is a political ideology that requires dominance over non-Muslims through political force. That is the reason Yasir Qadhi supports Islamic friendly, leftist politicians and collectivist groups like LGBT+ and feminists who are anti West. He also thinks Muslims should group think. He evades reality and still chooses to be a Muslim after having serious doubts in his Islamic beliefs. He is not ignorant of Islam. @Time to Reasonyou are speaking politically . Today's India might not be united politically. But culturally it was always united i can give you many examples. Adi guru Shankarachary was born in Kerala. But when he was visiting and debating in whole country. Every one followed him. Even today people follow same system what he made 2500 years ago. Gautam Budh= was born in today's Nepal but his huge followers were also in today's Afghanistan, Pakistan.. Political boundaries of India were never stable, used to change . But cultural boundaries were upto Pakistan, afganistan, shri Lanka. India= name given by Greeks Country was referred as Bharat-warsh, Aryavart(land of arya(श्रेष्ठ)) in old texts. Bharat = Bha+ rat Bha= Divine knowledge or truth or light Rat= completely involved Bharat= land where people are completely involved in Divine knowledge. I read that there are there are lots of similarities between Tamil and Sanskrit. There is nothing like dravidian. Dravidian concept created by britishers to divide north south. Same thing they did in other countries. Actually Indian history is distorted by britishers and then communist historians, there is a big debate on this. So we need to write India's correct history from the start.

These “mindset” Yasir Qadhi is describing in the beginning of the video is how our human brain works. Whether it’s politics/religion or many other things in our world, there’s always gonna be “us and them”(tribalism) among us humans. You should always take a step back and be critical, search for facts about any beliefs or ideologies and so on in life. It broadens up so many different paths and views in how the world works.

I once worked with an Iranian man who was secretly a Zoroastrian. He could not allow his belief system to be known for fear of being killed by his fellow countrymen who presumed him to be a Muslim. I suspect that the group think in Iran would today be mostly Zoroastrian were it not that Islam was spread through force. It is true that later day Christianity often spread through force (ala the crusades, the Inquisition, etc.) but that was not the pattern that Jesus prescribed. Instead He told His followers to carry the Roman soldiers bag a second mile, to give not just your cloak but your coat as well and to turn the other cheek. This I would submit ultimately resulted in the fall of the pagan Roman Empire. It is sad that Constantine managed to politicize the faith in such a way as to make it beneficial for those seeking political power to proclaim a faith their own actions denied. We have that same problem today as liberal churches proclaim the supposed nobility of things such as abortion and gay marriage while holding up a Bible that says otherwise. But truth is truth and that is why the Internet is having such an effect on Muslim people in so far as so many are converting to a more authentic version of Christianity. I recently came across an Iranian family which had been meeting secretly in an underground Church and had endured much hostility. However upon coming to the United States and finding it easy to proclaim their faith without fear of persecution, they began to realize that soft living has made Americans very lax. Justin Martyr wrote in 170 AD that some of the mule plows the carpenter Jesus had constructed were still in use 140 years later. That demonstrates the incredible amount of work and attention that Jesus put in even the seemingly insignificant aspects of life. Today our automobiles are actually constructed by manufacturers with the intent that they will break down over the next five years. This in spite of the fact that manufacturers are actually capable on constructing vehicles that would last a lifetime. Yes soft living has indeed made us lax. Right now much of the world is experiencing an incredible acceptance of the Gospel while church congregations in America have their ears tickled by liberals, prosperity preachers and other heretics.

I have recently had to convert back to Islam due to personal experiences, I wish it didn't have to be this way but I had to be honest to myself about what I have experienced. I wish I didn't have to convert like this. But I don't intend to give myself up to group think and tribal psychology. I will still keep asking questions like my agnostic self, and I won't fear to call out bullsh*t in the religion I claim to believe in. Thank you for this video, I have immense respect for you Veedu. Islam was spread by a very special force, by the power of money! One criminal finds a group of men and takes five percent of their income and they call it zakat. If you try to leave the group you are sentenced to death but if you stay you can get higher up in the group and maybe someday you will be the receiver of the money. It is just like any other group of criminals like the mafia, if you leave they kill you, if you stay you get a bigger part of the prophit. Everything is allowed, rape, steal, abuse or intimidate anybody accept do harm to one higher in the islamic hierarchy, that would have been a sin.

The problem with many ex-muslims today is that they want muslims to leave islam without providing an alternative identity rooted in their own history. The west could only abondon christianity simply because they found an alternative identity within their own european heritage and history, which is the Greco-Roman one. It’s time the muslim world looked towards the indo-persian heritage to a more secular less dogmatic identity.

It is the desire that there be an unalterable, unchallengeable, tyrannical authority who can convict you of thought crime while you are asleep, who can subject you to total surveillance around the clock every waking and sleeping minute of your life, before you're born and, even worse and where the real fun begins, after you're dead. A celestial North Korea. Who wants this to be true? Who but a slave desires such a ghastly fate? I've been to North Korea. It has a dead man as its president, Kim Jong-Il is only head of the party and head of the army. He's not head of the state. That office belongs to his deceased father, Kim Il-Sung. NOTE: *Christianity spread* through South America because of a miracle called Our Lady of Guadalupe. No force involved. Look it up if you don't believe me. Colonization never forced conversion, and many of those areas never became Christian as you can see all over Asia as an example. Only Pagans do forced conversions historically. Historically the record is clean with Christianity if you are truthful with facts of history.

1. You should consider using this video alone for all your future replies to "Real Muslims". 2. I'm sure there was a worldwide huge *But...* in this Shaykh original video, was that edit out? or if there wasn't, how da' hell is this man still a Muslim. 🤣🤣🤣

I'm reading the Myth of the Andalusian Paradise. A clear concise example how Islam was spread by the sword. I cry remembering the millions of Spanish women taken as booty, the main objective of Jihad.

That's been the speculation for some time. He's publicized his struggles with Islam. IMO he's trying to use his position to stop Islam from losing the internet generation by admitting to the ugly facts of Islam because he knows they can no longer be kept hidden. The question is: is there enough left over that makes it worth remaining Muslim?

Attention Mr. Yasir Qadhi: Subhan Allah! This is the Saudi Wahabist lobby calling. We just saw your clip, and are mighty impressed by your impeccable methods of propagating Islam. We have a big gift waiting for you that will blow your mind(and more). Now if you can please send us your address so that we can send you the gift all friends of Islam - like you - deserve. Thank you. Khuda Hafiz.

Here's a theory, Yasir Qadhi is actually an Ex-Muslim posing as a Muslim as a means of de-converting Muslims out of Islam. Some of the stuff he says sounds so anti-Islamic that is bound to make many Muslims question their faith. Imams, Muftis, Scholars, Dawah Guys etc are the leading cause of Muslims abandoning their own faith.

The way forward-thats the word that I'd like to emphasize. Just like anything else in life, in the pursuit of the truth, or God or oneness or whatever you might call it, is different for different people. And they need to do what is best for them. But what we can all agree on is to not impinge on the practices of other people but to approach them with respect. Mutual respect.
