However, I agree that liberals nowadays have been overcome by islamists. Islamists' agenda is contrary to the liberal agenda, but by pretending they are victims, liberals have been fooled into siding with them. I would like to bring liberals back to their purpose: protect individual rights and reject ideologies that support repression. In Hinduism and Christianity there is nothing like apostasy. You can criticise Hindu religion and Hindu gods and yet remain a Hindu. There is no compulsion for worship or prayer.But Islam is a compulsive religion and does not recognise the individual freedom. You have to pray 5 times a day and 365 days a year. You can’t question any verse of Quran or Hadiths.And what is worse is that Muslims don’t want to change with the changing times. It is good to know that more and more people are leaving Islam and for good reasons. Islam preaches hatred and violence against non believers. One of the verse in Quran Allah says” I will strike terror into the hearts of those who don’t believe in me “ .Can a god threaten people?

Truth is a very relative term, your personal experience is not mine and vice-versa but for you it is truth and for me it is truth. Sanatan Dharma talks about unchanging truths, example every human being is looking for peace, happiness and satisfaction. How will he or she get it? Can you get it by following one religious book and the commandments in it? Can these laws and commandments apply to all humanity at all times? Muslims believe in Mohamed as a Prophet, Christians don't, Jews reject Christ. Who is right? What is proof except faith. Sanatan Dharm terms these as minor issues, they cannot solve the issues of humankind.

Now I'm willing to listen to hypothesis of what is beyond that point.... But I want samples from the earth's core before I will make any real conclusions..... Imagine you came to me and told me your hypothesis of what is hidden beneath the ocean..... And I ask well show me samples, proof and you said well I have marginal explorations ( not full explorations) of 0.1 percent of the ocean.... I would have to take your claims as nothing but a hypothesis.... with almost no real evidence...... Till you bring me a sample of the earth's core.... Ultimately a nonsensical immigration policy of not stopping the bad guys, makes a country unsafe for the good guys, whatever background, faith etc. Freedom of religion is a right, is part of British culture, should always be preserved.

@19:15 Islam is an ideology, hence why it deals with politics. Atheism is simply not believing something, not an ideology. The real heart of the issue is a battle of ideologies. Hitler took queues on his ideology from eugenics. I think the real trick will be whether humans can tell the difference between true liberty and ideologies that trample on it. To me it comes down to the idea of "live and let live." Even environmentalism has been violating that moreso lately by sometimes putting the lives of plants and animals above people. Do we value human life more than animals? Equal? Or even less?

@meluhawasy I think true liberty is being governed by love, and I define love as caring about others as much as you do about yourself. But we can't make people love each other, so at the bare minimum, I define liberty as being free to think and do what makes you happy as long as it doesn't encroach on other's same rights. Desires are interesting. One way I categorize them is by being proper or improper. We need things to live, like food and water. Proper desire is fulfilling those needs in a way that is beneficial to you. If you eat too much or eat unhealthy things, then that is improper desire at work. Chemicals in our brain can be manipulated to have us desire what we shouldn't. But it can also be our thoughts and free will that go after things that are not truly in our best interests.
