What’s becoming so obvious to people now is that colonialism has never ended just rebranded with different terms. Writing as a Muslim, I would point out that if there wasn’t so much racism amongst some of the Muslim communities (particularly Arabs and those from the Indian subcontinent) towards black people; an alliance could be formed between Muslim voters (1.1%) and black voters (13%). It is recognised by Joe Biden that it was the black vote that got him over the line to the presidency. The Muslim vote is too small to be a crucial difference. Kamala Harris is changing the Democrat message slightly because of the backlash from young voters and black voters.
