No source was mentioned, hence it appears somewhat erroneous. There is a Saheeh hadith in the Sunan of both Ibn Maajah and at-Tirmidhi on the authority of Anas bin Maalik (radi Allaahu anhu) who reported that the Prophet (sallAllaahu alayhi wassallam) said: "The greater reward is with the greater test..." Nothing about khatr ['risk'] however.

It's almost impossible to avoid getting stopped out of a stock on the same day even in swing trading as waiting for 3 days to sell a losing stock will multiply losses in many cases and hence making it almost impossible to be profitable at something which is already hard enough
