Insha' Allah you won't get married. Buy keep your mind, eyes and heart open to any possibility. You never know who you will meet (perhaps unplanned by the both of you) in the future. My sincere advice: Pray for whatever is best for you, whether it be married or single... whatever is BEST! :)

Good lecture, this imam is a gift to the American Muslim (I'm British by the way) I know a lot of other groups try to bring him down but this is one guy who knows he's only answerable to Allah.

Did you have a bad experience with men sister? Only people i heard speaking this way are those who had bad run in with men. Islam allows you to reject marriage, if you have no desire for men, or children then you are asked to not get married. But if you desire men and children you are obliged to marry to protect yourself.

I am engaged to be married now but he is not Muslim. I will remain Muslim as I love my religion. I have found love at my old age and that is all that matters for me. :) thank you.

I'm an ugly looking guy and no girl will like my appearance. That's why I'm going here. I fear Allah and will not commit Zina even if I have enough money to do it Insyā Allah. For any brothers have the same problem like me, don't be sad because this world itself is just a temporary. Keep in mind that our God is the most Merciful. We will meet our spouses after this life Insyā Allah, their beauty which we can never imagine, how cool is that ! 😀
