Hi is a North Face Diablo Down Jacket sufficient for the Island Peak climb or should I be looking to get something more insulated and warmer ?

Thanks for all the useful information! One more question: Waterfilters are good against bacteria, but usually not against the much smaller viruses. Isn’t that a risk? Obviously, getting sick on the trail will keep you from summitting.

A watertogo bottle will take out 99.9999% of containments. This has been tested in the EU and the US

also use a spare Nalgene as your pee bottle but don't get them mixed up :)

Comfort rating at -7 will be ok. Just not extreme rating at -7 so just check the comfort rating on your bag
