He was put in charge of Hungary by the Germans after a Hungarian attempt to sign a separate peace with the allies and promptly became a German puppet. Under his rule (and under German pressure) Hungary started to properly partake in the certain WW2 tragedy inwolving Jewish people. Paradox really needs to make a game that focuses on the cold war era in history. It would start in 1950 and end somewhere in the 1990s. America was playing in the sand by then so it could open up some interesting scenarios with middle eastern countries in the late game. One of the big mechanics of the game could be avoiding war. Imagine having a M.A.D. meter on the screen that goes up or down depending on your choices and actions. If the meter goes up to high then boom mutually assured destruction. The main goal of the game would be to get to the end of the cold war in 1990. It might be a bit too simplistic for a Paradox GS game, but I think it could work.

The Cruzoob were actually a pretty interesting real case. It was a Mayan revolt against Mexico in the Yucatan Peninsula that established a de facto independent state in the mid 19th-early 20th centuries. They even built new towns (including their capital, Chan Santa Cruz) with traditional Mayan layouts and traded with and were recognized by Britain. Eventually they lost Britain's favor after entering into conflict with their colony of British Honduras (Belize) and Mexico took the oportunity to finally crush them, gaining complete control over the territory by the 1940s.

I think this mod is the harshness of it is applied more to the other centrals in equality to germany (ish). Austria hungary is even more split up (since Czechoslovakia are split), Bulgaria loses slightly more land, & the ottomans lose a lot of land to greece. Germany loses some land to poland, the rhineland, alsace & lorraine, and that state that border denmark (I forgot the name)
