Tensions are soaring in the Middle East after Hassan Nasrallah, leader of the Hezbollah militia in Lebanon, threatened a fight with "no rules" if Israel launches a full-scale war with his group. He also said Cyprus would be a legitimate target in any future war if it continues its military collaboration with Israel. His statement followed Israel's announcement that its military has approved a plan for an operation in southern Lebanon.

Mostly because the military mandates it. I'm retired infantry and given a choice I would have preferred being 75 lbs lighter in a fight. There's some benefits to armor but the weight alone cancels it out. You lose flexibility, speed to strike, and add damage to the body just from wearing it an landing on it. This is why it is almost impossible to retire without destroying your knees and back in the infantry. ​@@masumabid4883
