I don't think there is a two state solution any more: Since 2006, Mahmoud Abbas is not the legal representative of the "Palestinians" anymore. Ismail Haniyeh is. He was elected with an overwhelming majority and any attempt to disregard this - is simply burying your head in the ground.

I know. They're too tired to wait and talk peacefully. So they must made a radical move by electing Ismail Haniyeh. They think by this choice, they can get independence.

The Palestinians sends rockets from Gaza. They will do the same from the West Bank.

There is only 1 state solution, 1) entire Palestine without Israel 2) Entire Israel without a single Palestine

Brilliant presentation !! While Mahmoud Abbas is still the president of the Palestinian Authority, his leadership has been diminished. The situation 'on the ground' is pretty terrible with the war in Gaza. I would love to hear from the key speakers how they believe the two state solution negotiations can proceed between Hamas and Netanyahu when much of Hamas overtly has not committed to this and the feeling is that nor is Netanyahu because if feels like Hamas is pulling the strings...

Some wise people believe it will probably take Maitreya to resolve this conflict justly.

Some Palestinians appear to care more about attacking jews,than having their own state..This has some history in ww11 when the grand mufti and friends teamed up with the european nazis and associated ideology...Also If i am not wrong the west bank and gaza were included in the league of nations mandate for a jewish state,with present day jordan originally considered for inclusion Peace
@mouradhussein873710 жыл бұрын
You're completely wrong about the mandate.. go back to the maps and the history! The jewish state was supposed to be 55% of historical palestine with something like that 40% of palestinians and certainly not the west bank and gaza

2 state solution? Been their policy for decades! (Ever since WW2 anyway!) So how's THAT work in out for ya?

Great talk and realloy good people. But the +/- 5% of land is absolutely not the core of the problem. I think that on both sides are people, especially politicians, who are NOT INTERESTED in a (whatever) solution, but in an infinite prolongation (and even escalation) of the conflict. And the majority on both sides is yet not prepared to "eat shit". The Israelis must "eat", that they have to give East-Jerusalem to the Palestinians. And the Palestinians are not prepared to "eat" that there will be no right to return.

Only a two-state solution is feasible. Once the Palestinians will embrace reality and will agree to receive all they CAN as opposed to all which they WANT there will be peace.

GIVE THE SINAI TO THE PALESTINIANS!
@rezaasgharzadeh80152 жыл бұрын
Firstly we all know that the Jews were in the Sinai in many years . So the two state solution should only come true if the Israelis get back their Sinai and Palestinians get back their Palestine. Secondly the +/- 5% of land is ridicules ! Because the areas in the West back are 20 times more valuable than those less than 5% areas that Israel has offered. Not forget that Israel has taken the eastern part of the Westbank! Most of the Palestinians in the Westbank are refugees from Israel . So at least half of the Palestinians in the Westbank have the right to return HOME in Israel !
