I am pretty sure they have NOT elected HAMAS as their Representatives in any which way. If I lived in a state of subjugation and feel the oppression on a daily basis, I would be inclined to join any resistance movement or at least try to free myself and my family from such a state of subjugation and expression. If, as a consequence of this subjugation, oppression and call for freedom, the result is the killing, maiming and torturing of my children, my wife and/or other family members by the same oppressors, I would probably not only vote for those who seek revenge, I would probably be part of them (regardless of their name and reputation) and maybe even commit terrible crimes with the images of the lifeless/disfigured/maimed bodies of my son/wife/mother/father/brother/sister ingrained in my soul. I would not care less if it bore the name Hamas or Manchester United. I know it is not exactly turning the other cheek. But I am not a saint and not many are in this world. I am just curious, are you ? If not, what would you do ?
