Just read the entire Declaration. "IN PALESTINE" is the important part. I cant see blaming the writers of the declaration so much because if the actual agreement had been followed the problem today wouldn't exist. Creating a Jewish Homeland did not mean absorbing 99% of Palestine in the process. Facts are facts.

The jews accepted (although begrudgingly) the UN partition plan formulated on the bones of so much British overpromising. The palestinians, as they had done time and time again, rejected it. So the jews said enough and declared independence for the 1948 borders alone. And so all of the arab states declared war. And they lost. They declared war again in 67’. And they lost again. With each attack and subsequent loss, the Palestinian and arab states lost amounts of territory. Because even though gaining that much land was not part of the plan for the Israelis, as was stated in this video, “there are consequences to losing a war.”
