Eagle 818 has one and a half kills marked on its left side. The shared kill was in 8.6.1982 over beiruth, Lebanon. The pilot shot down a syrian Mig 23 with a sparrow missile together with Eagle 832. I could'nt find details on the other one kill. This is 106 sqd, called Tip of the spear sqd.

The F15 was a excellent Air superiority fighter bomber. The US stopped using them a few years ago. They were replaced by the F22 and F35.

I heard a similar story, a few years ago a IAF jet was displaying at RIAT in the UK, and the crew were taking lots of photos of themselves with the plane, people at the show asked them, why you do this, when you can take photos back in Israel anytime, the crew said its against the law when in Israel.

They had new rules this time, nobody was allowed to stand under the approach, we had to stay by the traffic lights each end, step ladders had to be small like three step, not big ones, they did chop the hedge low which was good, big ladders were OK on the other side of the road, but when the lights turn red, you get a big lorry stopping in front of you sometimes. There was more people there than at the airshow, quite a surprise! The Wave was full up by 8am they were selling bacon butty's by the truck load to all the hungry spotters.

@@IloveF-CXandF-CFalconViper Yea i dont know too much about that, I know the Israelis added larger external drop tanks on the f16s so id imagine they have the same for the f15s, 63% bigger than the american drop tanks at the time, and had to modify the landing gear because of the weight. Your best bet is manufacturer specs. Every country adds and removes what they need. I would imagine the USAF does the same thing depending on the role of the wing and their location.

​@@IloveF-CXandF-CFalconViper They will not even try to dogfight with the tanks, drop tanks will be immediately dropped if the threat is real, also most of the time there are escorts that will engage any threats to allow the mission to continue. Check out Giora Epstein he downed a bunch of Migs and even a helicopter, dropped tanks and chased Egyptian pilots till they crashed. The man was an absolute killer in the air Greatest Jet Ace in history.

@Richard Que Some of the airframes are from the late '70s and '80s. They have been "remanufactured" in D-Check to extend their life. Lots of avionic upgrades too. We now have new F-15i.

@@richardque4952 I'm not sure what you mean by "aesa". We have a company called Elisra, they specialize in developing and manufacturing radar system. Elisra developed and builds the pulse array radar for the Iron Dome system and the Arrow system (anti-ICBM interceptor). I'm not sure if they did anything for the F-15.

@Gissie In the video we see women ground support ( A-Check technicians ), and officers ( planning, operations ). We do have some women in IAF flight crews, a few made it to elite fighter jets. If they make the grade, they're in.
