How can Israel trust Palestinians who raise their children to hate Jews based on a religious command to kill a Jew since 1400 years until the end of all generations. The fact is that Israel is being condemned more than Russia, Syria, North Korea, China, Yemen, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Morocco and Iran combined. In eyes of each and every Israeli this shows that this isn't about what we are doing or not (and as they mentioned we are regularly being accused of things that we didn't do), but about how loud are those who want us to be defeated. So in their opinion there are two ways: "tell the world more about us, may be they will listen" or "we are too small, it has no point even to try, let's do what we should do and hope for the best". Most of them are naive enough to think that Israel can persuade people by speaking with them or showing evidence. I don't. I know that no one cares that Israel treat Syrian wounded during Syrian civil war. I know that no one cares that Israel treat cancer patients from Gasa and the West Bank for free, not only common people but their leadership too. I know that no one cares that life expectancy of arabs in Israel is higher than in any other surrounding country. I know that no one cares that a third of Israeli doctors are arabs. No one cares that Israel supplies Gasa with food and water and I don't mean allowing to bring there from somewhere else, crops from Israeli north that is being shelled for 9 month are being brought to Gasa. And although alll clames about imminent famine all you see in videos from Gasa are well fed people, many even obese. No one cares that there are more than 100 hostages in Gasa. No one cares that there are still rockets that are fired each day at israeli civil cities from Gasa. And dozens of rockets and mortars from Lebanon. I don't see how Israel can explain that it hasn't bombed the hospital if each and every news channel is broadcasting that is has. I don't see how Israel is supposed to defend itself in UN where 2/3 of members are not answering the most basic criteria for a member of UN. So what should they answer? We need to behave better? The only thing that Israel can do to stop being condemned is cease to exist. No, thanks. So their answer is naive, but gives them hope that we can be heard. Those who understand that we can't answer "we do what is needed to be done".

@@Disverdlov Decades ago, many Palestinians were displaced, never to be allowed to return again, and they saw their villages being destroyed and replaced by either israelis settlements or forests, while the authorities were encouraging massive immigration into Israel: in effects, people from other countries were coming into Israel to live on land that was once palestinian, while the Palestinians themselves were banished. When you take that into account, it isn't that hard to understand that Palestinians might have hard feelings and want to point out that most of these people came from abroad. A peace process often goes with some kind of truth and reconciliation process. For the Palestinians to accept the Israelis, the Israelis will at the very least have to admit the wrong they did. A few months ago, we went to a club here in Los Angeles, where we are diverse and used to every nationality, including palestinians and israelis. A girl in our group was accosted by a cute guy. They chatted and then she came back very disinterested. Why we asked her -- he's cute. He's Israeli she said. She's from Brazil. In that moment, I thought to myself, well, if anything, they did get a bad reputation. Seeing videos like these reminds me why it didn't matter before where people we befriended came from -- but when you pay attention, many believe that they are defending themselves and not really committed to an ongoing genocide. We're all here immigrants in the land of the free. For a while now, we're being guided by racism, before it was dormant, now it's been stricken with genocidal killings for 9 months and we need more of these people to speak up, to protest, to make the right choices. War only benefits corps and warmongers, religion is a tool of control if you don't have faith or believe in a message of peace for all and equal opportunities land and freedom for the palestinians! At this point, it'ts more than peace and ceasefire, now it's also rbuild and repopulate and reparations.

I find these videos so fascinating. I can’t help but notice the rhetorical similarities as when South African apartheid was taking its last few breathes. The reality is without two states or one with equal rights this is an unfixable problem for Israel. Can’t put the cat back in the bag now… thank you for what you’re doing Corey we prob wouldn’t agree on everything but this an important historical documentation been watching for years and have been involved in Palestinian activist for a long time now I hope this will be a breaking point the status quo is unsustainable for both Israelis and Palestinians

But South Africa didn't have the same level of support from powerful western countries as Israel has now.
@britneyyy19174 ай бұрын
@@ddhh1270 valid point you’re somewhat correct but that backing away of support from the west happened from the mid late 70s to when South Africa apartheid actually fell in 1990. It was a 10-15 years process in total think in Israel’s case we’re in the early phases of that

@britneyyy19174 ай бұрын
@@ddhh1270 I think people somewhat over estimate APIACS level of influence. The reality is Israel is an American proxy state to have leverage in the region and a major trading + weapons export partner. Everything in this world is about $$ and leverage. Same was true of South Africa until the apartheid became politically and financially unsustainable. If I was Israeli I’d be pushing for a more “liberal” form of Zionism at this moment. The more costly the apartheid becomes the higher chance and riskier it becomes that you begin to lose political and economic support. I get where you’re coming from but reasons to be hopeful… ICC ICJ and potential loss of European support (not so much American yet) are big questions that can dictate where we’re at when the war is over. Hoping the pressure keeps up many avenues open right now think one of the biggest differences between now and South Africa is also we live in a unipolar world there’s no USSR as a counterweight to western expansionism and politics. How China moves will also be a critical aspect of this many question marks but I choose to be hopeful much more doors open for Palestinian emancipation then this time last year

I don't understand how a two-state solution would work. Realistically, should Pal only be two tiny strips of land separated by IDF in the middle? Going back to the borders? Is that going to happen, realistically? I only see a one state with true equal rights, or one will exterminate the other, while the world watches how political leaders only care for their own geopolitical interests.

@@ibrahimsued4906 The goal is NO Palestinian state whatsoever, so pretty much the goal is to finish off Palestinians, Palestinians would fight until the last one of them and never have a surrender peace like what Israel wishes. If Israel gave people rights HMS would never have anyone supports it, FYI HMS was established in 1987 meaning 40 years of occupation and Palestinians did nothing to it, Israel had 40 years chance to finish off any kind of resistance if she gave people rights, but Israel is Israel, evil will always be evil, HMS was established and it will never end, the support for HMS in 2024 has skyrocketed that Israel will fight for decades and fail to finish it.

I gotta say while some interviewees tend to hide their answers a bit because the questions can expose deep seated (and wouldn't say out loud) beliefs- This question definitely opened the door to understanding why they feel this way. Keep in mind Corey is asking a lot of normies. While I know Corey has a bias, this was probably one of the best videos I've seen because it allowed people to talk about real world impacts they are facing as citizens regardless of the reason they think why it's happening. The older guy who said he can't travel abroad does scare me as to why that may be though, ngl on that.

the gentleman who touched on being the chosen people - i think its the best answer i've heard in any of these video's. touching on the messianic movement which stems from evangelicals is, in my opinion, at the core of why we're still here in 2024. when he said, "we are western - we live different" (than Palestinians) its falls into line with what Bill Maher said "We need to support Israel because they look like us" the white colonizers who founded america thought the same thing. I pray for peace but i dont have hope for it. modern evangelicals don't even believe there are christians in Bethlehem & if there are they're not "real" christians. its a sad and heretical gospel evangelicals teach regarding the state of Israel
