frigidaire upright freezer not freezing - troubleshooting

Thank you so much - this was a huge help! Quick question - my kit also came with a small piece of foam that looks sort of like a rectangular bowl - roughly 4.5" by 8". Any idea what this would be used for?

Wow. I had this repair done under warranty and a year later it failed. Frigidaire says its out of warranty sorry. So i am doing this repair myself and am finding that the factory repair person did not do the repair this way. She never removed the back fan cover and put the metal tape over top vs. underneath then putting the cover over. She just taped over the wires and all. Also they didn't remove the white tape gasket and just put the black gasket tape on top. I cant wait to see just how they did the rest.

I have a Fridgeaire gallery that the freezer is stuck on - 14 c degrees an,d the temperature on the refrigerator is stuck on 7 c. What should I do?
