You must let the glow plugs cycle thru 2-3 times before cranking, that's why it was so hard to start,,, DUH

cycle the plugs and it wont cold start like that. Love these trucks for the mileage

You have to WAIT TO START in diesel engines. Especially in cold conditions like these. 0:50 Red Coil. Wait for it to dissapear.

cuz you're treating it like garbage! let the glow plug light turn off and start it. I have an 01 that never lets me down.
