I don't know anyone that actually pays for their bags that you've mentioned in the video and don't consider them cool! GUCCI is iconic! Had a marmot logo bag in the early 80s and now my daughter uses it. I still have my speedy from 1979 and its iconic. The same people that wear that fast fashion and sells one bag to get another are the only ones declaring these bags not good enough any longer. As a stylist, you don't follow the trend you make the trend and that's that! Wear your bags as you please and enjoy them! I know I do, I still rock my original Chanel from 1982 along with the current bags. It's so funny how the Dior kidney bag came bag out and it's 5 times what I paid for it when it originally came out and my leather is of much better quality... smh!

Now it’s no longer “in”, but Gucci released it in those pastel colours and I fell in love with the baby blue with the silver hardware. The silver just gave it a whole new look for me. I feel like people have become much more conscious of how problematic the constant revolving door of trends can be (thanks fast fashion lol) and over consumption in general. Pressuring others to give up on items they already spent their money on, love, and find useful definitely isn't the move in a post-2020 world. It's definitely cool to see a shift in people's styles towards vintage bags and just an overall emphasis on what you personally like rather than what others deem to be "in". It certainly makes fashion and style so much more personal and unique.

Nice to see you again on KZbin! You look great! The “it” bag that I still love that isn’t cool is the Prada Lux tote! I have 4 and they are such a boss bag like Olivia Pope from Scandal! And I agree about the speedy! I love it. Have 4 of those too! I only like the Gucci Marmont camera bag. (Can’t deal with the heart on the flap one) I still think it is a good bag! I agree about the city bag. Love it. Mine is vintage I think from 2001. It fits everything!

So happy to see a video from you! I LOVE my mini Antigona in rose gold! It was my "unicorn" bag because of the color, and I still have the same amount of excitement when I take it out of it's dustbag as I did the first time I unpackaged it! I also have the Speedy B 30 in Monogram which to me is classic, and have had my eyes on buying a Soho Disco bag in red as well. I never care about what the trends are, I buy for my style (case in point - as much as I like the look of the Neverfulls on other women, I'd never waste the money on one since I am not a tote person). Love from Long Island!

I've had my speedy 30 for about 15 years. I couldn't care less if it is considered cool or not. I also have a vintage mono speedy 25. It's beautiful, its proportions are perfect.

I have the speedy b 30, the gucci marmont camera bag, I bought the Givenchy Antigona last year and just bought the Celine nano luggage. I buy whatever I like, I'm not into trends and could careless. I love bags I consider classic and I feel I can use for a long time.
