At least this was the process I saw and was explained to me by the case manager and attorney handling my end, at my own expense btw....

My mother went through hell when she emigrated to NY legally sponsored by her brother. Became a sleep in slave cooking, washing and looking after those whose name you can not mention or they will cancel you and their children. Came home Friday night went back Sunday morning. Lived on chips and their left overs, paid lawyers over $10,000 to get a green card 9 years later. May she rest in peace. Love you Mom 💜💜💜💜💜

There are too many of them. First things first you have to find where each came from a logistic nightmare on its own, second of all the countries they came from might be hostile towards the US so we cant ship them over in US ships, third is catching those who dont want to be deported and since there is so many of them and so little officers who will be sent to do the catching its gonna be impossible. (There is also the fact new york is considered a sanctuary city so the politicians have to fight over that)
