The gov down under found him and gave him an interview to see how much money he had on hand and if he had a job contributing to Australia. SS admins denied and made me reapply 3 times, you have six in total, but before the fourth denial an administrative law judge has to review it. It's typically only after that review an approval is ever given. So they waste two years of a persons who's already not doing very well's life. At least this was the process I saw and was explained to me by the case manager and attorney handling my end, at my own expense btw....
