My husband emigrated to the US legally. It cost us thousands of dollars, many months of him not being allowed to work, many background checks, proof over multiple years that we were really married and were a real couple. It makes me furious that people doing everything illegally are being rewarded while the honest people doing everything the correct way are being punished. If someone is seeking asylum they need to be held in some kind of facility while they are investigated, not shipped into this or that city to join a gang and steal honest people’s identities. This is why my parents (I am first generation born in the US) had a year of jumping through hoops. Starting with a background check. They needed a SPONSOR living here to ensure they would not need money. They had to LEARN ENGLISH to work, and they studied hard to become American citizens. That's how they were able to live the AMERICAN DREAM, buy a house and cars, and raise a family. Don't allow them into our country until they do the exact same thing! They can wait until they have a full background check and be able live without sucking off our taxes. They had thousands of dollars to get here and have money to pay for fake social security cards and drivers licenses. TAKE CARE OF AMERICANS WHO NEED THE HELP!

How can they have fake cards? Won't they show up as fake when scanned? I'm from Sweden and here it's impossible to have any kind of fake anything, everything is tracked by chips and barcodes. All swedes have a uniqe "social security number" when they are born. The first numbers are your date of birth and the last four numbers tells where in Sweden you were born and if you are male or female. That number follows you through your entire life, you can do nothing without it. And if someone else "steals" that number then they will be caugt at the first check no matter how small. So I just can't understand how you can have a fake ID or any of that in a country as developed as the US?
