Moose's worth increases everytime he breathes, he breathes in silica particles suspended in the air, his lung compresses them and he breathes out nano gold particles. What the pharaohs of Egypt spent millions on in their time our Moose does it when he's just dozing after a hard days work on the Celica. The hardest part of his job is holding back his immense strength so that he doesn't damage the car or the tools.

@@fila1445 haha well we have been friends for 20 years. Moose and I both built Honda D16 engines together back in the day, and by built I mean we actually assembled them ourselves, ported the heads ourselves, fixed the leaks ourselves :D

Don't forget this is with mostly free labor and doesn't include the paint and other things. I've been restoring/modifying cars for a LONG time and it really never pays off unless you do the labor and get the right kind of project. This is a VERY different car from what you started with. It's awesome that you pretty much went all out on just about everything. I have a 1971 Coupe that I want to get back on the road. Did pretty much everything myself.

Nice! Its shocking when you add up the numbers but like you said, when you do a rebuild, especially in this short of a time frame it adds up fast. Build the car you want not the car the internet wants!

What a great video! The elements that always come to mind during extensive builds like this is the knowledge, experience, skills and connections you've gained from the entire process. Not only have you ended up with a phenomenal track car but you've also gained valuable skills and made some new friends along the way! Not only that, but you've contributed to the Celica community and passed along some critical info to Excessive to now make new parts that others can purchase and enjoy. Two thumbs up fellas, this beast was worth every penny.

What a great build guys, can't wait for season 3. Here's my 2 cents: Paint it in Porsche Rhodium Silver, it's a beautiful shade of silver with a hint of blue. The overfenders, front lip and boot lip in matte black. Wrap the bumpers in chrome foil. For the interior, go crazy. How about some black and white houndstooth fabric on the seats and door cards? Well, anyway... It's your car DP, whatever you do to it it's gonna be awesome. Merry Christmas.

@Jeffball6106 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure how your stock brakes lines are routed, but Willwood makes another proportioning valve that allows it to split 2 lines to the front, and one line to the back with a similar valve to what you have to send fluid to the back. If your current setup is all routed through one distribution block, then your current solution may not work well.

Lockups are not just the proportioning valve issue, it's the spring in the push rod in the Master cyl designed to keep up the pressure in the drums. Ah well 2nd time I've told you this, fix it and don't end up almost killing somebody like someone I used to know did...
