In this very short video we struggled from the start of the day.
I started with a massive hangover that led to several roadside sickie stops. Then as we are finally making good ground we are flagged down by a fellow motorists to let us know they see flames coming from the wheel on The Hardee's trailer.
After a redneck road side fix and advisements against our fix from our resident lawyer we did it anyway. We dromg from Grand Junction to Ouraywith a strap holding the trailer off the ground.
Not to mention we had no set or "reserved" camping spot once we got to Ouray. Not knowing rv's were not welcomed in 2 of the 3 locations i scouted online.
1. Angel Creek Campground - no rv's
2. Thistledown Campground - no rv's
3. Amphitheater Campground - rv's ok good luck fininding a spot was 100% full
This new information added a lot of stress because EVERYONE was depending oon ME to get us a spot.
We lucked into a spot and ended up staying in that same place the next 7 days.
no power hook up, no water hook up. Just free ranging lol
