RIP Alchemy Stars, I'm a day 1 player and been have 1200+ login days. It was fun, the changes they made over the years. And the Art has always been god tier in my opinion. At this moment in time, Global EOS as announced. Sucks, it was fun Navigators.

Sad that this happens. Now I have stopped playing but it's the only gacha game that made me return to it. The reason I left is to try newer gacha game. Unfortunately, these newer gacha game fall short to my expectation after couple of months. With no better replacement, I'm back to Alchemy Stars. It's unique, great gameplay, and good gacha. With that being said, new contents come pretty slow and that's the main reason I left yet again. It's full of challenges to finish but being challenged everyday with no excitement for new content can bring a toll to you. I mean the last new patch I experienced was 44 days long (iirc) and the story can be finished in couple of hours.

Oddly enough the Global was the 1st to release not CN Update: Global will now follow suit like CN and will have Offlin version called Special Edition but here's the catch you'll have to put your game on your local storage device

I started playing as soon as it launched and have loved everything about the game. it's gameplay gave players full control over their own strategies and allowed them to think outside the box (as games are meant to do) instead of making Autoplay a mandatory element of the gameplay and denying any control over the gameplay like other gatcha games. I have not seen any game with such a unique gameplay or an immersive and intriguing story like AC. I actually hoped to see the 5 ancient (alluded to in the death scene of schummer) eclipsites that became the architects of the current astra strife with conflicts. I am sad and flabbergasted that the manga story I was looking forward to has been cancelled. I loved this story better than any of the existing gatcha game stories currently still online. The story still had so many mysteries in Astra's past to unravel. I couldn't care less how long it took to release the chapters but I really wanted to see it to the end.😢

I liked the gameeplay of this game a lot but resetting for leftover tiles rng + the garden/base update that made ur phone into an oven + no sweeps was painful.

to me, the biggest gripe i have with the game (still active player btw) is that i just dont like how RNG it when it comes to... doing things, like if you dont have converters, you are cooked, but enemies can just waltz over and block you, imo, theres nothing fun about RNG in the smallest of things, even in FGO the stupidest RNG is still doable

​​​​@@aokyoutsuki7744 I'm active player too but ehhhhh ofcos you cooked if no converter. you atleast need 1 converter in your team to move around easy. and if 2 converter in your team then the RNG in this game is nothing to fear at all. and i never felt boring when i have bad RNG. Actually is rare for me to get bad RNG and if i do get one, is still doable. you just need to know what correct team combination to use. Just don't use rainbow team, is not the efficient way to play the game. what team you're using? you relling me the RNG in Alchemy Stars is not doable? that's weird. every event, every stage i play i manage to completed on the highest level

I admit that I was a casual player who never finished the story, was often absent for long periods, and spent five dollars for one of the costume rolls. But, I consider this to have been my favorite gacha game. I cannot add anything new to say; the story was okay but great in events, the art and (especially menu) music were gorgeous, new Aurorians remained surprisingly balanced, the Cloud Garden was something that I never touched, and the game was always rather generous. I really wish that I played more, especially because I did enjoy the core gameplay. I look forward to see what Tourdog does in the future.

I'm currently playing Alchemy Stars and was saving for whatever the next new character might be, guess this is why we haven't had a change over, lol. I hope they give us an offline version for global too, I'd like to finish the story at least. The gameplay was nice and they were adding more unique characters but then slowed down massively.

I bought her space outfit because I thought it was cute, but not one single time since that outfit came out has she been a featured 6* on a banner. I used to enjoy the game because of the story, but when story started "dipping" and made inserted questionable stuffs in that's when I lost interest, like why even make an entire event for Carleen's family but not include Carleen in it... Her entire family problems got "solved" but Carleen didn't even learn that her mother is alive and her sister is "cured".

The characters were designed based on the tile boards which really limited the gameplay. Plus there was an oversaturation of characters but also generous in currency so yes it was f2p but there really wasn't a reason to pay. The ways they got the people to pay were a bit scummy. $50 skins, limited stuff.

The game visuals were amazing but again very close to Arknights with none of the gameplay that carries it. It also carries most of its issues like checking your base daily for bonus.

The first things that likely hurt it was it was one of few mobile games made for 64bit, and it was rather demanding, so it didn't run well, or just at all for many. Overall though, it was pretty good, and the devs made good changes to address complaints. Although when they seemed to really try changing things to appeal to the Chinese player base, is when I just gave up on it. I have no idea why, but Chinese developed games, aimed at China, tend to bloat the text like crazy. Story, descriptions, whatever, it all tends to be at least twice a long as it need have been, which just gets intolerable. Then to make things appeal to China more, they added a new China like faction, and tried to reintroduce the events around the new faction. We already had those events in global, but they, and the characters were being presented to us again, as if we had never seen them before, and all with massive text bloat. I'm sure I'm not the only one that got turned off by those adjustments, so when they were already not exactly the most profitable gacha game around, were losing global players, to try to appeal to Chinese players, but the Chinese players evidently didn't get into it all that much, well, I guess that's it. Hopefully we'll get the offline version too, if so, I'll go through that process, so I can mess around with it some, at which point it will be the only gacha game I deal with anymore, or likely ever.

Data mined info about EOS is usually correct, the game that I remember and experienced myself is magicami. It's only a few days early, but yeah... Players who are active on discord know first before the official announcement.
