Hey.....I am waiting on my strut to arrive....just put new hood struts on and made a huge difference...I basically just unlatch and it springs up in a controlled manner 😁
@H3Humper2 жыл бұрын
Hey Terry! Having functioning hood struts is a luxury... Makes me wonder why I used to live without them for so long haha. Having the rear hatch stay open is really nice, too!

@@H3Humper Hi...for $20 it's worth it to not have the stupid pole stored in the back....the rear strut came in and works great... found the vacuum leak...dumb mechanic didn't put the pcv hose on....put fuel hose as a temporary fix.... ordered the right hose... however, long term fuel trims reduced from 20's to low teens at idle so still too high... cleaned filthy throttle body...will put new gasket on it....02 sensor look to be working....new plugs today....hope not a weak fuel pump....or bad rings or injectors....thanks for responding....

What!!! Bro that intro is sick!!!! I see ur at that 1k subs mark too, congrats! When parked at the wrong angle that back door could really catch you off guard. It hurts when it smashed into you...I have learned this already
@H3Humper2 жыл бұрын
Thank you, man! I'm super excited about hitting 1k 😎 I hope you're doing well. The back doors really are a liability with the weak supports. I'll probably add one of those screw-on deals made to keep the hood open when the lift struts are weak. That'd be a nice way to stay safe from being pummeled by the rear hatch when parked at an angle haha.

Can you please make a video on how to open that door from inside won't open at all

Thanks BRO. Super easy. An will fa sho safe alot of frustration. I had taken off the spare tire to help but now i can put it back on. Is there anything u can show me about the door being kinda jiggly went off roading.???
@H3Humper3 жыл бұрын
My pleasure! Hopefully your new lift strut will keep your hatch open with your spare on. There are custom struts to order with a higher weight rating, as well. My rear hatch is a bit jiggly off-road, as well. I'll try to figure out a solution for it!

My rear strut is pretty good but the struts on the hood of my H3 need to be replaced. I think I will do all three at once. Cool video btw!!

It sure is nice having the hood stay up! Putting up with bad struts can be painful... I'm glad you enjoyed the video, thank you!

Good to know after place two 8" woofers in the tailgate along with fiberglass and sound deadening, that strut is getting a workout
@H3Humper3 жыл бұрын
Sounds like you've got quite the setup! I hadn't thought of putting subs on the tailgate. It seems like the perfect spot for them!
