No. We all have a purpose to perfect the world for G-d. Love, real love, not the "I love you then stab the person in the back once it's turned" love, is not happening globally. Doesn't need to happen. R-e-s-p-e-c-t needs to happen around the world first. Otherwise it's all lip service. Annoying lip service.

How Humankind Came To Be "... New Year’s would normally be a time for sharing a few pleasant remarks about the occasion. But I am seeing imminent danger approaching humanity, and have been called upon by divine beings to pass along, for this reason, several things to everyone in this world. Each of what I am about to disclose is a higher, closely guarded secret, and these are being shared to provide a true picture of affairs, and to give people another chance at salvation." *** Why the Creator Seeks to Save All Life "...The Creator is the Lord of all divine beings in the Cosmos. He is the maker of the Lord of lords, of the King of kings, and He is the Sovereign of all lives-including the Three Realms’ human lives, spiritual beings, and material things, all of which He made. His love is the highest and most sacred blessing for all lives! There is no greater honor for any person in this world than to be loved by Him!" New articles by Master Li Hongzhi on Minghui website

Love comes and goes, you know that. One minute the kids are great next minute. They do some thing horrific and you don't love them that much. Rabbi has a whole speech on it. I think God's laws, respecting and treating everyone as they are Gods creatures, I think that's what's going to bring peace into this world.

The best way to feel better about life, is to imagine every other person is you, and in that way you feel connected. When we are in separate bodies the tendency is to be independent, and then over time, as we get older, we start to feel alone. This is a mistake. Connection is the thing that gets us through. 🙏🥰🌍
@nomorecensoringme
@nomorecensoringme Жыл бұрын
Yuck. We were created as individuals, not as a group. We come into the world separate, not together. We leave the world separately not together. Reason G-d did that. For each person to understand and fully appreciate their importance, by themselves, so that each of us will achieve our vital unique mission. Once part of a group people tend to rely on others to do the "heavy lifting". Nope.
@cheryldeboissiere1851
@cheryldeboissiere1851 Жыл бұрын
Standing alone. Standing for one’s principles is far more important than some group consensus. We are born alone, even if twins - there is just our self. We live out life alone even when surrounded by people. We die alone even if there is a room full of people. If the room is dying, we are still an individual death in that room.
@EG-hw8re
@EG-hw8re 10 ай бұрын
I think it's a mix. Individually is very important, but we are also to create meaningful relationships and share throughout our lives. I mean, God gives, and as we are created by God, we too should be givers. It's something all of us need to work on ourselves, individually.

Beautifully said, I love this "To be or not be is not the question, the question is WHY be?" Also rings very true that life for life's sake doesn't make sense, but life for a greater purpose is absolutely sacred... maybe the only way it is sacred. I agree also with Suzanna, understanding and feeling yourself as part of a greater whole also makes life infinitely more profound... Thank you for this. Life is just a means to get to know yourself. It is only temporary.....your soul is eternal. We are all one and therefore we need to stop hurting one another. Many people live according to the “service to self” principle.....humans need to learn to live according to the “service to others” principle. This way nobody will be left behind. When one lives according to this principle, your own life becomes less central, you will give your life for the survival of others.

@@esesolomon7144 yes everyone may of course believe as they wish. 'Love'? Not a person who overuses that word to the point that it's almost a curse or impotent. People on Jewish videos can't even respect us, where would anyone of us really believe in 'love' from any of them? Yet they'll pontificate on it as their mantra of mantras to throw in people's faces. We don't all need to love one another. We need to r-e-s-p-e-c-t each other, as individuals, as being created by G-d, so having value as such. Don't see love around the world until after Moshiach and the Redemption. People are far away from it until then. G-d told Jews to love their fellow Jews since our history has dissention, which ended up being the cause for the destruction of the Second Temple. The Third Temple will be built on Jews love for all Jews. A huge feat. May it be speedily in our time.

I'm only 40 but I've spent a lot of time thinking and speaking with people about things like this. I've personally come to the realization that THIS is Heaven. This life is the gift that sets us apart from everything else in the universe. People squander that gift or let others squander it for them. We spend years of our lives (in total) reading old books and looking for a better "life" or "after-life" that we forget to take part in the experience we're already a part of. THIS is heaven but we (or others) can turn it into our own personal hell. I think your books almost got it right.

I wish that when I was young, I would’ve had the wisdom that you’re sharing with all of us on KZbin. I love to listen to you. I like it when you share the writings of the Torah and explain it in English. Thank you and happy trails to you.

I think, when you're young, brain is not developed enough to think of higher esoteric thoughts. There's a reason why people can't learn Kabbalah until they are 40

I live for the next Epiphany... and the Inspiration to manifest it... which causes the next Epiphany... and the Inspiration to manifest it... I'm not Jewish, orthodox or otherwise, however as I listened to the 'day of rest' and the '6 days of doing' part of what you shared, it is very much like this process I experience. Your way it a bit more structured than mine, but I found it noteworthy there is an essential similarity to the process. Thank you for sharing your 'pearls of wisdom', 'nuggets of truth' and 'diamonds of enlightenment'. Taking time to look at other people's Inspired points of view and works is another thing I live for. 😊

'Ministry' is a christian concept that doesn't accurately describe what a rabbi does. In particular, Rabbi Friedman is an emissary, a schliach in Hebrew, sent out by the Rebbe, of blessed and righteous memory, to share Torah.

Rabbi, either my phone was listening or God was because I no sooner said the words "How did I get here" in a dry, humorous way, than I saw this video. Not only were we given this life, and our own Mothers and Father's, but we were given a location and time in history. A thin chapter in a massive earth sized book. All the issues man had before our time is what greets us or meets us. I get very bummed out sometimes, but I think of the chapters before and how hard they were.

Did they think they were 'hard'? Or is it simply the way things were so they dealt with it. People have gotten pampered and spoiled with technology to make things "easier". Has it all? What has the "easiness" accomplished?

@Mindy, your remark about being a chapter in a book and it being a large book reminds me of something Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote. He said in the afterlife we existed as books in a great library, that each book was a life with open pages to the other books. I think you should look it up and think about saying I am a book of the great library and I cannot wait until I am read. Nor can I wait until I get a chance to read the other books. They were suppose to be open to each other. Look it up. It’s much better than my remembrance of it.
